As expected surrender with some kabuki theater about immigration enforcement funding.

Avoiding a shutdown is easy: Just roll over for anything Zer0 demands.
It is so much easier than taking on his stooges in the media.

Looking for a way to placate Obama while keeping their own base from bailing before they are even sworn in.

Funny how liberals seemed scared of a shutdown.

Well, that didn’t take long. Let the GOP cave-in begin!
But hey, not to worry... As long as we keep re-electing Establishment Republicans, as many FReepers here passionately advocate, then everything will be just fine!

Remove all leverage.
I would say this is stupidity, but complicity is more accurate.

LOL! The other elephant in that cartoon could even respond with: “You’re right... We need to work together with King George and stay focused on jobs and the economy”.

And when Obama, and the Democrats say no..?

Republicans were not elected to bow down to President Obama. Pass a short time extension and then send up appropriation bills for him to veto. Try to override the veto and have Democrats and Obama be on record as the party of no. Let his legacy be that he vetoed numerous appropriation bills and shut down the government.
To: C19fan
Every time I see Bonehead and McCoward on TV I lower the volume and imagine that muffled voice of the adults from the Peanuts cartoons when I see their lips move. These two jelly spined fools keep thinking we conservatives will just hang around the party. I suppose we’re all waiting to see how things shake out in 2016 for Ted Cruz or maybe Scott Walker, but I know if Bush were to get the nomination I think that will finally cause the mass exodus of conservatives out of the party. We’re the ones who have been patient while the GOPe screws up the party and gives a helping hand to the Dems in ruining the country.
