Good cartoon but for the record Ole Ironsides was not even builds at the time of the Boston tea party.

In all reality, I have no doubt that there were very serious discussions amongst the leaders about whether or not dumping the tea was best for the rebellion. Just because there isn’t a lot of discussion about it in the histories written afterwards, the Founding Fathers sure discussed and argued about everything else.
