WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is stepping down under pressure, the first cabinet-level casualty of the collapse of President Obama’s Democratic majority in the Senate and a beleaguered national security team that has struggled to stay ahead of an onslaught of global crises.
The president, who is expected to announce Mr. Hagel’s resignation in a Rose Garden appearance on Monday, made the decision to ask his defense secretary — the sole Republican on his national security team — to step down last Friday after a series of meetings over the past two weeks, senior administration officials said.

And yet, Hagel was among the best and brightest left on the Obama team.

Just like Nero appointing his horse as a senator, I believe Clown Prince nobama may appoint his dog, bo, as the next head of the dep of defense.

I don’t like Hagel, but at least he is an American who is concerned about America. Obama and Jarrett are primarily concerned with protecting muslims and advancing islam. Kerry is just a dolt. Rice and the others are Marxists.

00.01% what little conscience he has (if any) led him to resign.
Either way, 100% incompetent.
If you were a democrat president, whom would you nominate, to replace Hagel? I’d nominate Janet Napolitano, if I were Obama. She has enough experience, as a cabinet member and governor.
Never should have been appointed...Obama denuded the entire US military establishment for a Caliphate...
