Benjamin Crump, attorney for Michael Browns family, called into question the grand jury proceedings against police officer Darren Wilson, saying the prosecutor was showing an unprecedented amount of deference in the case.
Why do we accept that when police kill our children, were just going to have this grand jury proceeding, and its different from everything else? Crump said. Its a problem with our system, when we have the local prosecutor, who has this symbiotic relationship with the local police department, and the local police officers, and has no relationship
It sounds like youve prejudged what the grand jury is going to say, Stephanopoulos said, somewhat taken aback. Have you already decided the process is unfair?
Oh, the process is completely unfair, Crump said. 99% of the time police officers arent charged when they kill young people of color.
Crump said he was certain Wilson would get a fair trial if indicted. I dont worry about due process for Officer Wilson, he said. I worry about due process for the little black boy lying dead on the ground.

I can’t help but chuckle over Crump the chump - if ever there was a man whose voice did NOT match his stature, it’s this bozo.
Yep, that wee little tyke laying there, boo freaking hoo.
I would like to see, on national TV, a bunch of parents of both black and white 18 year old young men. And hear how all of them feel about their own child if he were stealing cigars to make blunts out of, beating and threatening Oliver Minority shop owners, then when asked however rudely to get out of the road, reaching into a police car and attempting to smash the cop’s face, plus either reach for the gun or try and prevent the officer from getting his own gun out.
I personally would feel like my son, and I have a son almost that age, DESERVED to be shot. Maybe killed. And I love my son. No one, not even “my baby” is above the law. My son did not control his behavior enough to be treated with respect and make it into a court of law. I teach my kids to be extremely respectful of law enforcement. They have guns. They deal with the scum of the earth every day. Don’t Anger them.
I am aghast that anyone else feels differently. I could not care less what race.
Yes, exactly. Michael Brown wasn’t a “little black boy.” He was a giant man who received rough justice for his thuggery.
Correction: older minority shop owner
Never bring just your fists to a gunfight.
Pray America is waking
300 lbs. IS NOT A LITTLE BLACK BOY....
THIS ATTORNEY SAY’S WILSON WOULD GET A FAIR TRIAL??? WHO IS HE KIDING. LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO GEORGE ZIMERMAN AND ARE STILL TRYING TO DESTROY HIM...
I FOR ONE AM SICK OF THE BLACK ALWAYS CRYING..’NOT FAIR’ POOR ME, GIMME GIMME GIMME... ENOUGH..PUT THIS ISSUE TO REST...CASE CLOSED.
It’s impossible to avoid the conclusion that the only thing that will satisfy these people is a lynching.
Of an almost certainly innocent man.
What part of going after a policeman’s gun is a bad thing - do they not understand?
I guess Crump can go home. There was no little black boy lying on the dead on the ground. Just a beefy heavy fisted armed robber.
Oh, and how about some due process for the Storekeeper his client's child robbed and assaulted? Has the Black community taken up a collection to pay him for the Swisher Sweets? Or his burned out store? Thought not.
Is he talking about the 300 pound bully - the thief? This guy should spend a little time worrying about the thousand of black kids slaughtered every year by black men....
How in the world did an idiot like this ever pass the bar exam?
lol — “Gentle he was! Awk! ...”
I agree. If the GJ was fair they would have dismissed this months ago.
Hmmmm, hadn’t thought of the wrongful-death lawsuit angle. Very good snag.
Considering that Ferguson is 80% black, that expensive social-justice Big Casino payday for Crump will be funded by black people, for the most part. It’ll be too late, then, to avoid getting raped by that grievance-industry pleader.
Ain’t life funny sometimes?
Granddad stretched his age a bit and was ~15 and 6 or 8 months when he got into the Navy. A pic of him and others on the Nevada circa 1935 looks like a freshman/sophmore high school class.
....Oh yes...then he says...”Crump said he was certain Wilson would get a fair trial if indicted. I dont worry about due process for Officer Wilson, he said. I worry about due process for the little black boy lying dead on the ground.”
This Attorney wants a trial ...$$$$$$$
He must have educated the local protesters and when one was asked by media if she wanted to see Wilson convicted, she said, "Yes, I want to see him convicted." "Without a trial?" "Yes, I think he should be convicted without a trial."
Brilliant.
