Washington (CNN) -- Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren -- not Hillary Clinton -- is the top progressive choice for president in 2016, according to a new poll.
In fact, Clinton doesn't even make second place. Forty two percent of respondents favor Warren, and Vermont Independent Senator Bernie Sanders also edges out Clinton with 24% compared to her 23%, according to results from the 2016 Presidential Pulse Poll commissioned by progressive grassroots organization Democracy for America.
These results come amid a groundswell of activism from the Democratic party's more liberal wing, which has called for a contested 2016 primary and has often questioned Clinton's financial ties to Wall Street.

If past practice is a guide to future performance it will be some back bencher again who manages to hit the jackpot. None of the present talked about candidates will finish in the money on this one....
I’d almost put even money on Al Franken, except he’s a jew so he’s a non-starter. Someone in that vein. Fauxcahontas is too high profile too early. Someone who’s out there that is not even on the radar. Think Jennifer Granholm (not an NBC, but neither is Obola so that has been cracked already). An epic failure in Michigan, she was term limited out, but were she not, I’d bet dollars to donuts she’d still be governor there.
She’s 55 and I’d be willing to bet she gets in race at some point.
With this, I agree, but as with all election cycles, it's way too early to pick winners.
I can't dispute your premise though, anything can happen with the low info voter.

Hillary and Bill know that their political days are over. She’s using this presidential run scam to build her a nice nest egg before she rides off into the sunset with Huma Huma. She has no intention of running for anything. That’s why she started all of this “Ready For Slick Willie’s Wife stuff two and a half year early. I love Scott Walker (in a male sense) but he underperforms in the charisma part of the campaign role. Cruz is strong on the charisma part and has a good background, but probably is not equal to Walker on all issues.
I think Rubio beats them both but Pubbies have got to do something to get lots of our own off their “single issue” dance, whether abortion, race, or whatever political hot buttons are driving people. We’re ALL on the same side, we need to act more like it!
