Vehicles were located about a 30-minute drive from Ferguson, Missouri
A Navy veteran has been fired and branded a terrorist for posting Facebook pictures of scores of Homeland Security SUVs parked at a hotel near Ferguson where he works.
Mark Paffrath, who worked for the Drury hotel chain, took photos and a video of dozens of vehicles marked with the logos of the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Protection Services which arrived in the parking lot of Chesterfield’s Drury Plaza Hotel last week.
The vehicles are parked about a 30-minute drive from Ferguson, Missouri.

Paffrath says he was also told by his superiors that he put the hotel's $150, 000 contract with the Department of Homeland Security in jeopardy.

A representative from the Homeland Security office in Jefferson City, Missouri, sent KMOX an email saying, “the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has no role in the Ferguson Security Plan.”

He breached his employment protocol and got fired.

I’m probably a terrorist, I dodged the draft by going straight into the Navy, had to get my dad to sign so I could join just before my eighteenth birthday and do three years active rather than four. How can I tell for certain whether I am a terrorist?

Who is the Federal Protective Service protecting?
Us or the government?

DHS has lots of assets to throw at a situation like this, but the Federal Protective Service's (absorbed into DHS under George W. Bush, IIRC) presence is not unexpected.
Is it all an elaborate ruse, intended to catch us off-guard? We'll know soon after the hollow-points start flying.
Well, one thing Obama has not put into place yet is the civilian security force that was to be equal to the military.
But he has two years left.
DHS was in Seattle over May Day, I suppose anticipating riots. There were pictures of local cops taking to people and DHS standing right there with them.
