Hot Time In the Old Town Tonight

Late last night when we were all in bed,
Mrs. O’Leary left her lantern in the shed.
Well, the cow kicked it over, and this is what they said:
“There’ll be a hot time in the old town tonight!”
When you hear those bells go ding-a-ling,
All join ‘round and sweetly you must sing.
And when the verse is through, in the chorus all join in:
“There’ll be a hot time in the old town tonight!”
For dramatic effect, shout out “FIRE, FIRE, FIRE” at the end of the first verse.
Silly variant: Ten nights dark when bed we all were in,
Old Leary lady hung the shed her lantern in,
And when the kick cowed it over, she eyed her wink and said
“There’ll be town hot in the time old tonight!”
Break out the pumpers and plenty of fire hose!!!
Time for the local fire departments to break out the fire hoses.
Nothing violent, just a good soaking spray.
Sadly, some people riot even when they do get what they want, under the pretense that they should have gotten more.
I thought they said they would give 48 hours notice before the actual announcement is read.

During the Rodney King riots..they asked people why they were rioting and the majority of them said “Cause I want free stuff” they didnt even know who Rodney King was, they just wanted their freebies
Yes and the on the street reporter states that the people in charge of the “protests” are pissed off about that because they have been peacfull. Duhhhh,the Gov knows what he is dealing with and is doing his job,unlike the POTUS,and protecting the citizens.
Before the GJ makes their announcement we still will have to endure TV docudramas, presidential proclamations, movies, and lots and lots of "get ready" stories from the MSM.
The Obama admin has a lot of work to do before they can turn this thing into something that's going to make any sort of mark on the nation's psyche... which is the goal. It's going to take a lot of "messaging" (and money) to turn this into what they want it to be.
Guess they’ll have to start some fires to keep warm.
I’ve been a firefighter in cold weather, don’t envy those guys if there’s arson. My hands might get too numb to aim the nozzle and the crowd might get wet.
