"...... would always disagree because as shocked and depressed as I was over his election in 2008, it was Barack Obamas re-election in 2012 that helped to confirm my worst suspicions about black America.
In spite of lingering double-digit black unemployment, increasing black homelessness, food pantries with block long lines, inner-city schools that were still failing to meet even nominal standards of proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic, and headline news levels of racial strife, blacks still gave Barack Obama 93% of their vote."

Long but interesting read. (IMHO) Sounds like someone needs to "Move away from there" and seek some broader experiences. Now when I hear "I'll take Manhattan" I would gladly say, "You'll take it? Good. You can have it."

Yep. They sold out. Some of their churches say abortion and gay marriage is against God's will but that didn't matter to most of them. They sold out.

It also makes blacks the only group in America that you can tell at a glace with 95% certainty ... they voted for Obama!
I think of that very fact each and every time I deal with one of them recently.

Excellent comment in the article.
Just as the Chinese have flooded our markets with cheap, flimsy products, progressive education has flooded our nation with cheap, uninformed minds. I believe that leftist black Americans are an embodiment of the worst outcomes of this type of education. Intellectually crippled by progressive educations inferior pedagogy, most of the black Americans that I know have learned to use anti-white multiculturalism as the de facto replacement for the cultural self-respect that they feel continues to be denied them on account of slavery and Jim Crow. They have learned to level the playing field by denigrating and rejecting European history and culture, attitudes which are tolerated and even reinforced in both public and private K-12 schools. Since they reject the cultural roots and heritage of Western Civilization, they never actually learn that rich history. This is what puts them at a disadvantage in society -- not the color of their skin.

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the many great contributions of the Black community and their culture to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real Estate values are fueled by the influx of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nurturing of these communities, an example of all they have achieved by their enthusiasm for self-improvement through hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation. /s

Good one. It would apply equally well to the invasion of poor, illiterate, illegal and often diseased illegals being promoted and really led by Obama to further bring down the USA.

It’s long by FR standards but there are a number of pertinent observations included. It appears the L.E. Ikenga is a “nigerian-American”. When are these folks gonna be just plain old “Americans”? I don’t know if my ancestors ever called themselves “dutch-Americans” or “welsh-Americans”. But, since some of them arrived here in the mid 1600’s, maybe they grew out of being hyphenated citizens over time.

First, I began to understand and accept that blacks, for the most part, were not interested in making the case for a traditional, more conservative America. Most blacks, because of an intellectually debilitating education, would continue to equate the conservation of Americas traditional past with a western civilization that engineered and condoned many atrocities throughout human history. Second, it wasnt so much that blacks had fully bought into the secular progressivism of the silver pony-tailed white far left, but they had unequivocally bought into Barack Obamas dreams to fundamentally change the country. Barack Obamas Change! was implicitly anti Western Civilization. Third, America could continue to elect black presidents from now until Kingdom come. This will never change black peoples enmity towards whites and their culture. For many blacks, Barack Obamas elections were a symbolic middle finger to Western Civilization and all of the progress that has come from it -- progress, which of course they have benefited from. I finally accepted that the collective "Black America" was an enemy of the Truth on this day:

90% of Inner City Blacks (which represents about 75% of ALL Americans of Deep Color) have been taught to either viscerally hate this country, or have merely given up on trying to improve their plight because,
"Hell, there may be another handout around the corner if I just play "victim" long enough." Lazy, slovenly, no-class-having, brain-dead imbeciles waiting to be herded off to the voting booths every 2 years in return for a handful of Food Stamps, a Welfare check, a crack pipe and some MD 20-20.
Sure, an' it sounds like a fine Irish lad!

I see no point in Republicans "reaching out" to black Americans. Any who feel like coming on-board (like Thomas Sowell, Lt Colonel Alan West, and many others) are welcome, but I am not interested in making any changes to the platform in order to pander to people who will finally just vote Democrat anyway.
The Republican Party should just reach out to those who want a prosperous and secure United States, and let the rest go their own way.
