Yet another video has emerged of MIT professor and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber calling Americans stupid, and bragging about how the Affordable Care Acts drafters had to deceive the public in order to pass the law.
(snip)
But now tonight, Kelly reported, more video has surfaced showing this was not the first time Mr. Gruber called the American people stupid in an off-the-cuff remark. In this next clip from also last year, Mr. Gruber explains how Democrats played with the language of the Obamacare law so that it achieved their goals, by again, fooling the stupid public.
She then played a short 5-second clip of Gruber, saying the following, that a part of the Obamacare passed because the American people are too stupid to understand the difference.

Arrogant liberal elitist.
It’s the progressive mindset. It’s why they believe in technocracy, the rule of experts.
Other than Fox and the alternative media, I wonder how much coverage this is getting? Will most of the LIVs ever hear about it, or even care as long as their EBT cards keep getting refilled?
I take it as a compliment...
The Tea Party crowd (myself included) and Republicans were energized in opposition to this deception. So by extension of his comments, we are the SMART ones! Only the stoopid Demoncrat voters were fooled (and only because they wanted to be).
Americans elected Obama twice
***********
Als the clueless dingbat Jimmy Carter and sleazy Bill Clinton.
The American People were not stupid. They knew. They did not want this. For crying out loud..Scott Brown winning a Senate seat in Massachusetts?? Democrats pulled some shady shady stuff to get this thing passed. It was pure criminal deceit
He'll just a pull an Angus King and talk about how wonderful it is that millions more have "affordable" health care. IWO, the end justifies the means.
MSNBC had this clown on and he “regretted his choice of words” - so a handful more people have heard about it, albeit in a positive light.
I hope Gruber sees fit to make an apology tour because that will just cause more attention to paid to him.
It’s getting posted a lot on FaceBook, from what I can tell. And not just by politically active Conservatives, either, but people I’m friends with who stay out of political discussions. They’re ticked.
Whoever’s releasing these knows what they’re doing. Pop out the first one, collect angry denials/downplays by Progs and an eventual mea culpa by the guy who made the comment.
Then drop a second clip showing it wasn’t isolated. Makes the initial Prog/perp reaction look craven, but also makes them wonder what else may be out there.
If he’s so smart and why is he shooting off his mouth on camera like this?
HELLO?!!
Is anybody LISTENING???
Gruber is RIGHT! PERIOD.
Anybody who voted for him—especially the 2nd time—IS VERY, VERY, STUPID!
Stupid liberals will always shoot their mouth off due to their belief that they are enlightened, and have a solution to every problem.
Who is running this operation? They are GOOD!
This is classic textbook stuff! Put the video out there. Get the perp to go public with an apology. Then spring the next video on them.
Sounds like someone on our side has been reading Alinsky too.
He needs to be asked if he regretted it more the first time he said it, or the second...
Arrogance. People like this have to tell everyone how smart they are.
It is arrogance that justifies their agenda - “since all the dumb masses disapprove of what we’re doing, it proves its superiority”.
I hope the faculty hiring committee is giving this guy a hard look.
My guess is they agree with him whole heartedly.
Prob’ly get a raise outta this minimum...
I am hopping mad I am so pissed I demand those “STUPID” **sholes return any monies that were given to them to draft this outrageous evil Obamacare plan. They need to pay back every last cent that was given to them for drafting this plan! Sue the hell out of them. It’s the pits being short in money to file a law suit against those **sholes .... Ugh!
It is reminiscent Al Gore's answer to David Roberts question regarding global warming. Al Gore said it is okay to lie, (he used the words "over-representation") about the facts.
