State Department Condemns Stabbing Attacks

The United States on Monday condemned the two stabbing attacks in Tel Aviv and in Gush Etzion, while urging both Israelis and Palestinian Arabs to ease rising tensions.

"We strongly condemn the stabbing today in the West Bank, and we deeply regret the loss of life," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said, in a statement made before soldier Almog Shiloni, who was critically wounded in the Tel Aviv attack, died of his wounds.

"Our condolences go out to the victim's family. It is absolutely critical that parties take every possible measure to protect civilians and de-escalate tensions," added Psaki.

It's very good to know that the US State Department is against random stabbings. But it's hard to ask the PA to take measures to de-escalate tensions that they are the cause of, except if you're a pontificating ass who gets paid to say things like that, so the onus once again is on Israel.

So fine. As an Israeli citizen, if I encounter a vehicular Jihadist while hitchhiking, I will take every possible measure necessary to see that his car gets rolled and torched with him in it.

You know Ele 5, I was at In Incirlik, Turkey. I liked my year in Vietnam more than I liked Turkey. I hated it because I did not like being around a bunch of Muzzies. Be that as it may, I had a chance to visit the Holy Land from Turkey, and I did not do it. I regret that now, but I saw where Saul of Tarsus was from. He was a Turk :-)
