Using gun violence as its cover, the Obama administration has quietly unleashed a cache of federal dollars that will be used for testing students for signs of mental health issues in K-12 schools.
Critics say personal information scooped up in the screenings will be logged into databases that will follow the child throughout his or her academic career and beyond.
Public schools, which have increasingly taken on aspects of psychiatric clinics in recent years, will get infused with more than $150 million in federal grants to further this agenda under the auspices of Obamas 2013 executive action titled Now is the Time to Do Something About Gun Violence.

WE ARE ALREADY ON THEIR RADAR !
In the Soviet Union, a systematic political abuse of psychiatry took place[1] and was based on the interpretation of political dissent as a psychiatric problem.[2] It was called “psychopathological mechanisms” of dissent.[3]
During the leadership of General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev, psychiatry was used as a tool to eliminate political opponents (”dissidents”) who openly expressed beliefs that contradicted official dogma.[4]
For that title:
‘Obama orders ‘mental-health’ testing for schoolkids’
You sure it wasn’t:
‘Schoolkids order ‘mental-health’ testing for Obama’
“This will eventually target Christian kids.”
In the Soviet Union opposition to the regime was proof of mental illness. Any opposition to the anti-Christian culture will most certainly be a sign of mental defect.
“These children who turned in their own parents as traitors were regularly lauded in the newspapers, the term used to refer to them was child-hero.” - 1984
“Are there any guns in your home?” - 0bama

Now these are some databases that warrant extreme hacking and disruption.
This started some years ago, but has had little mention since. It began with software given to schools for free, that would supposedly help them psychologically profile students who might engage in a school shooting.
The worst of its problems was that it involved a LOT of subjective input from administrators, so much so that they could profile any child they didn’t like as being a threat.
Somebody quickly crafted a version that identified every single black child in a school as potential threats. The system got little or no publicity after that, but no indication that it was ever stopped.
“My parents have ordered me not to answer. You will have to ask them any questions about firearms.”
Brilliant!
This is targeting more than your children, they will deprive some of ever having firearm ownership but I believe it will also extend to parents.
Thus spake the greatest lunatic in the land....
Eventually? That is the main reason for it, to stamp out "bullies" who are against homosexuality.
parents need to watch public school teachers like a hawk!
Angsty teen schoolboys have been around since schools began. So have guns. What's changed in recent years, then?
Answer: Goo-goo pills. Concerta, Daytrana, Methylin, Ritalin, etc. All the kids are on them, recommended by their school head shrinker for students diagnosed with 'ADHD'. I'm surprised they don't have a dispensing machine in the school cafeteria. Gobble your crazy pills. Sit there quietly and shut up, kid. Right up to the moment you flip out and shoot up the joint, then we'll blame the NRA.
How this isn't a national scandal is beyond me.
I paid little or no attention to the first and tossed it. Then I got the second and read it carefully , discovered the highly probing personal questions, and that it was designed to look like anonymous questionnaire but was computer coded so it could be tracked back to me. Seeing that, I immediately tossed it and did not reply.
I see my doctor once every three months for various followups and have an annual physical. Indeed, I had such a followup less than a month ago. Nevertheless, I received a call from a nurse at my doctor's office about a week ago asking if they could schedule me for a "Medicare health screening." I noted that I'd just seen my doctor for a regularly scheduled followup that turned out normal. The reply was this was not advised by him, but by Medicare, and that it would be "free." I immediately and emphatically refused to participate. So far nothing more has happened. Have any other FReepers who are reading this thread had similar experiences? It looks like somebody in DHS is trying to construct a very dangerous personally identifiable data base of all Medicare beneficiaries under the twin false premises of anonymous survey and a "free Medicare health screening." If so, THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY!!
Earlier this autumn, my family doc had everyone fill out a strange questionnaire like you mentioned. Some questions were worth going ‘hmmmm’ about.
I have private insurance through work, too.
