And when they completely gut the ranks of conservatives.
The base just stuck a knife in Ted Cruz’s back in KY.

If true, Katie Couric would be wearing black if she were still on TV.
I saw her do just that in the aftermath of the 2002 mid-terms and the 2004 presidential election.

In my county in VA (67% Romney in 2012), the lines were as long as they were in 2012. Poll workers said they were surprised how busy it was. Anecdotal evidence, but interesting nonetheless.

We need to go to every Rep and Sen office, call them everyday, obstruct, tee up lawsuit after injunction, and, well, THAT, too.

Independents are the rule in NH and Brown has won them.

If it’s 51-49, I’m taking bets on which Republican will play Jumpin’ Jim Jeffords this time.

I bounced over to DU for a bit just to see the mood.
I hope you were wearing one of those Obola hazmat suits. Never know what you can catch there.

WV is a sure take over and MT and SD, also highly possible, aren’t listed either. That would be seven not counting LA.

Just kidding. Early, leaked exit polls are garbage and should be treated as such. Consider this your warning.
Seriously, they’re terrible. Just ask President John Kerry, who was convinced for a couple of hours in 2004 that the White House would be his new home:
Sen. John Kerry looks to make a victory of the electoral college, according to all sets of exit polls conducted by a consortium of six media organizations (the National Election Pool) that RAW STORY has acquired and confirmed with myriad sources.
The first, third and final round give Kerry a wide berth in all critical swing states. The second round put Kerry ahead in Ohio and Florida, but only by a one point margin.
The latest national exit polls puts Kerry up 51-48 percent nationally.
Don’t be John Kerry. Stay calm and wait until the real votes are counted. Actual returns will begin to be released in just a few hours.

I haven’t seen Michael Barone on Fox yet. He used to be on with them for election night all the time but I did not see him yet this evening. If he is right about Brown in NH that is very exciting. I see they have him winning independents 50 to 49 so that sounds encouraging.

Being that I live in Fairbanks, I know the routine. Still plenty of people in the cities to be polled.
Still hoping for a Republican sweep, although I am doubtful. Begich has bragged about his village ground game. That scares me, knowing how the voting is done in the bush.
