Happy Election Day everyone! I figured I'd go ahead and get the election day thread started. Polls open on the east coast in a little less than an hour.
Please be sure to post observations of interest if you went to the polls today.
Damn, I thought we might have that one. Oh well. Its connect-the-dots. Who cares?
Do you all think we’ll reach that magic number in the senate? :-/ getting twitchy ...
Hope not but here’s a cool story you might like. My wife and I drove down to Bridgeport on Staurday to renew our pistolpermits since it was a miserable dayand we had to do it sooner or later. 4 of us in line and out of the bathroom door comes an attractive young blondwoman with her carry permit in her hand. She says “hi I’m Heather....”. stopped her there and said you have 4 votes from my house already. Chatted a bit. Nice young woman who should have been at the top of the ticket. In fact the clerk whotook my picture said “ I wish she was running, the two guys are stiffs”. And she is right!
Tom Cotton is ahead with 1% of precincts in.
Cotton - 51,740
Pryor - 48,045
WASHINGTON (AP) Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin wins re-election in Illinois.
Macdougall cam eto everyone of our Republican club meetings for months never missed one came ot our REC meetings never missed and won the county 4:1 knocked on every door in the Keys as well. Like you said he was not sufficiently hispanic.Even though he was from South Dade—Cutler Ridge my old stomping grounds.
Looks like good old Broward county is holding up again so they can print off the proper number of votes. It should be a law that Broward and Miami submit their results first. Why do Republicans fall for this every single year?
WASHINGTON (AP) Resurgent Republicans captured Democratic seats in Arkansas and West Virginia and bid for control of the U.S. Senate and a tighter grip on the House Tuesday in elections shaped by deep voter discontent with President Barack Obama.
Cotton has won
Barone tweet:
In GA, Nunn may gain over 2008 in metro Atlanta southern counties with increasing black percentages. But Perdue seems headed to 50%+.
Republican or not you stand for conservatism, God and country. That’s as good as it gets for me.
Well, I’m sure it would be positively racist if the Republicans didn’t get Democrats time to find trunks of votes.
Wow! Thanks! I knew CNN was fast with election results. Too bad the local channel here in Orlando is so far behind.
What site we using for results? Roll Call, The Hill, Politico, Breitbart, or Real Clear Politics or another site?
NY Times: Exit polls from North Carolina show that Kay Hagan, the Democrat, is winning a majority of better-educated voters, while Thom Tillis is doing better with those who have less education. About half of the voters in North Carolina have a college degree, according to the exit poll conducted by Edison Research.
Rick Allen up big over Barrow (D) with 25% in,
Usual crap from NYT
I am reading the posts and about to bite my nails off. Brown lost...oh well, he was not a strong candidate. I believe Sheheen won off the back of Hassan who is popular.
I will celebrate if Crist loses!!!
Thank you! That’s just what I needed!
Excuse me while I go puke.
