WHY?...Does Mitch get to be the Senate Majority Leader?
Is it just because he was Minority leader?
Don’t the Sens get a chance to vote or “run” for the position?

Great - the rest of the nation slaps Obama away, and we vote him in as governor. The gas tax is going to seem like nothing when Tom Wolf is done with this place.
I don't believe we will ever have an honest election again in PA. It is no longer a case of voter fraud, but a case of rigged elections in Southeast PA.

I don’t know. If you look at the face of Karl Rove vs. Joe Trippi and the fact that the anchors on Fox are smiling, it might just be a good night...

Here’s betting Brown takes NH. This night could be historic.

I think if our win is big enough tonight it will pull both La. and Georgia over the top in the runoff.

I think you are right. Shaheen’s strongholds are already in. Brown’s yet to report.

Philadelphia is a cancer on this state. There isn’t much more to say than that.
There are a lot of idiots here in Pittsburgh, and we both know there are plenty of dim bulbs in Harrisburg, but the worst of it is definitely in Philly.

WHY?...Does Mitch get to be the Senate Majority Leader?
Technically, he doesn't. But from a practical perspective it might actually be the best option.
Depends on whether we can trust Cruz, Lee, Sessions, Paul (on some stuff) and some of the new Senators elected tonight. If I were Cruz, I'd get a coalition together, quietly go to McConnell and threaten to mount an ugly, ugly challenge to his leadership. Unless he came around and played ball.
Cruz has a really good track record (esp for being only 2 years in) for that sort of thing. Ref the gvt shutdown last year.

That is what I have said in the other thread. They would have called it otherwise. NH is the reverse of Virginia, with red counties coming in last

Yep, Philly ran off poll watchers in 2012 and got away with it. Pure unadulterated corruption.
