Happy Election Day everyone! I figured I'd go ahead and get the election day thread started. Polls open on the east coast in a little less than an hour.
Please be sure to post observations of interest if you went to the polls today.
I view voting GOP as a holding action, to delay what is coming long enough to return to the division of power design of 1787, meaning a Senate of the States.
Voting every two years is necessary, but if return to republican freedom is our goal, voting alone is insufficient.
Likely the Senate will be switched to Repub before midnight, as well as most Governor races. The only thing left to wonder about will be how much the majority increases in the House!
I’ve got beer. Haven’t decided yet what time beer’o’clock will be.

“Ive got beer.”
Please vote first!
[Grin]
Heading out to vote.
Prediction: Gillespie will lead in Virginia until the 99% Dem precincts do their magic late in the night.
North Carolina. The fix may be in. Reports of fraud and ballot stuffing there.
I also think that Obama showing up with Hagen means the fix is already in and they will claim Obama saved her bacon.
I really hope I am wrong.
I wanna’ know what happened in Dixville Notch.
Even a small change can make a difference. I remember the 1970s and Jimmy Carter. I was young and it seemed like there was no hope in the world. There were hostages..our people...in Iran. The Republican party seemed doomed and there really was not very much hope in the world. Then came Ronald Reagan....I know from history that God does not abandon his contrite people for long. So I look to the the Lord for change and vote for the party who is the lesser of two evils. I voted because I believe that things can still change for the better.
The fraud is so blatant in NC that I wonder what a recall vote process would be there?
Early voted last week after I got all the judges figured out. Nothing to do now but sit back and watch. And pray that I don’t end up with a tear in my beer.
7 AM in the UP (CST) Some people do not realize that MI has two time zones. All I see is Peter signs everywhere up here. Not one Synder sign! Benishek yes lots of them. Land signs too. I do not think DISH has CNN anymore anything Turner Broadcasting is now gone. Oddly enough I do not even know who is running up here on the republican ticket. The MI GOP has been MIA once again.
I don’t know what or if the recall process is there, but I certainly hope Tillis does not concede too quick since we know that cheating has been going on there.
“but I certainly hope Tillis does not concede too quick since we know that cheating has been going on there.”
Absolutely agree! I want to yank as many seats from that reeking D.isease party as possible even if KKK Byrd will rise from his democrat-praised grave and seek vengence against me and my black FRiends.
I’m jealous, you early-voter you!
Ping for reading throughout the day.
My flyover opened at 6:00AM. I was there for the “Here ye. Here ye.” Myself and one other gentleman. In 2008, there were 40 or so in line at 6:00. In 2010, 15 or so. In 2012, 30 or so. Clearly very low turnout here and it is going to rain all day. Absentee and early voting off 40% from last mid-term as well.
