I’m of the opinion that “new and better laws” serve 2 closely-related directives:
(1) It keeps the liberal politicians employed.
(2) It generates some form of tax revenue from “the fly-over peons” such that...well...see #1 above.

1) Did it have an ominous looking handle?
2) Was any part of it black?
3) Was it made to DOD standards?
3) Was it made like other hammers, but slightly different?
If the answer to any of these is “YES” then the answer is MOST DEFINITELY AN ASSAULT HAMMER!

Google "war hammer" and hit IMAGES. You will see REAL ASSAULT HAMMERS just as deadly as today's Assault Framing Hammers!
Reminds me of the old 1971 movie BLOOD AND LACE in which people are murdered using the claw side of a hammer.
