I just hit the part in the third movement where I used to have to turn the record over. It sounds strange without the gap.

(I played the album every day for several YEARS!)

It is right before the little duel between the oboe and the tympani.

It was a Deutche Grammaphone Recording, but I don’t remember who the orchestra was.

I also had a bootleg recording of Leonard conducting, in which the tubular bell guy MISSED his cue!

It was on reel-to-reel and since lost.
