US Officials Say Obama May Replace Kerry

US President Barack Obama's administration is coping with underwhelming performance on various fronts according to officials cited in the New York Times on Friday, who suggested he may replace some senior administration officials - including US Secretary of State John Kerry.

"There is an inflection point in every presidency, and this certainly is a logical one, if the president feels he might be better served by some replacements on his team,” Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told the paper.

Citing the Ebola crisis in Africa that has spread to a few isolated cases in America under Obama's watch, the rise of Islamic State (ISIS) jihadists in Iraq and Syria, and tensions in Europe between Russia and Ukraine, the paper noted world events have already led Obama to make changes by bringing in Ron Klain to manage Ebola and Gen. John R. Allen to lead the coalition against ISIS.

According to the New York Times, Kerry and US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel "are struggling to penetrate the tightly knit circle around the president and carve out a place in the administration."

Me thinks that they are egging, daring BiBi and Israel on to attack Iran and it’s nuke installations for the fact that they already have the nukes they need to attack Israel after Israel attacks Iran with the UN’s blessings and world condemnation against Israel.
This administration is also giving Israel a hint : go ahead and attack Iran, you won’t have US support, your all alone.
BiBi knows this.
We are in very dangerous waters now in the middle east as far as Israel is concerned, pray for Israel.
After the election who knows what’s going to happen in the middle east.

Good idea. But then, who would replace Obama?

So long as Valerie Jarrett remains in the West Wing then Obama have shuffle the deck chairs all he wants and the administration will remain as inept as ever.

....eventually they will eat their own. Funny. I've often remarked on what seems to be a common theme in many of these horror movies about some group or someone trying to gather everything together necessary to summon the Devil from Hell, Dracula from his sleep, etc.

When this happens, nearly always, the devil/vampire/monster consumes the disciples straight away. It's like the joke about the turtle and the scorpion trying to cross a river. "I just couldn't help myself."

Obama has been concerned about protecting his right flank for the past six years. Now, he has to also protect his left flank for the next two years from elizabeth Warrwn and the Hildabeast. Obama’s problem is that some of his administration are now positioning themselves for the next administration. Kerry is one of those. Additionally, it’s my guess that the recent comments made about Netanyahu is coming from a Clinton’esta within Obamas org.

Iran’s ability to choke off ( or rather, the desired effects of it ) the world’s and the USA’s supply of oil in the Persan Gulf has been parcallly nullified by America’s Oil fracking revolution.

Well, he has the da hood street creed diplomacy going for him and blames whitey for all his own short comings of his own doing.
That should serve him well for blaming America and Israel for all the world’s ills and suffering.

You assume that with Valerie gone, the level of competence can rise.

I would argue the opposite. Barack has no core competence. There is no there there.

The net result of any shuffle will be a decrease in competence

But would an incompetent Idiot recognize others like themselves as being an incompetent Idiot?

Of course. Incompetent idiots are always able to recognize idiocy in others, but they can never see it in themselves.

That’s what scares me, “ peace in our time “ and the fact that humans do not tend to learn from history and the fact that history tends to repeat it’s self, only this time ? It’s with nuclear weapons.

The explosion of carbon-based energy production in America has certainly offset the formally unilateral power of the Arab world to substantially control the flow of oil. Likewise, the production of oil in Russia has contributed to the reduction of the power of the Arab world to control the flow.

Nevertheless, it remains within their power to substantially affect the price of oil by reducing its flow and for the capitalist West that is as good as actually cutting off the oil. We have seen how the power to even threaten such a cut off has had its effect in Western Europe when done by the Russians. The health of our economies is dependent on reasonably priced oil. America alone cannot supply the Western world's need and so the price will skyrocket. Western economies will tank and there will be multiple defections from a united West not to mention in Latin America and Asia.

Greatly to be feared is some sort of an alliance between Russia and China, especially respecting energy, which might be extended to the Arab oil-producing world. Another version of the same, Germany chooses to align itself with Russia and China and a new axis is formed.

The chessboard becomes a Rubik's cube when energy is introduced.

ou assume that with Valerie gone, the level of competence can rise.

I think that given her track record it couldn't help but rise, at least by a little.

I would argue the opposite. Barack has no core competence. There is no there there.

No argument there. But it's a coin toss on which is worse.

The net result of any shuffle will be a decrease in competence.

Since Jarrett isn't going anywhere then you're probably right.

RUSH: Are you ready for this? The New York Times quotes somebody describing the Secretary of State John Kerry as spinning and floating out of control like Sandra Bullock did in that astronaut character she played in the movie Gravity... The story is about how Obama may have to replace some of the people in the Regime because they're so incompetent.

There is some truth mixed in with some irony with heavy doze of laughter there somewhere, if only ? ..., but this is not a laughing matter, the middle east is a tender box ready to turn hotter.
