Okay, but I’ve seen houses up north where there is snow that have them.....it is still cheap and not worth $50K IMO. Looks to me it has the cheapest stuff it can have, frankly. Shingles look very cheap, a 2” paved driveway, etc.

“Two questions: 1) if you live in Maine why land in NJ and not in Boston?”
All people flying from West Africa are required to fly into one of 5 airports. Newark is one of the five, but Boston Logan is not.

The troopers drove behind them but did not attempt to stop them. Why weren't they arrested? I thought there was a legal order for her to stay at home? Or did the governor cave on that too?
Are we really sure she was in West Africa for more than a layover flight because her attitude screams of an obola set up.

What a self centered selfish............ there is no word terrible enough in the English language. According to CDC guidelines I've read, she is allowed to go out. They mentioned jogging in a park as acceptable as long as she doesn't come in contact with other people. Maine may have other guidelines...

I’ll believe you, but it is no mansion by any credible means. About as cheap as one can be built.

It’s a voluntary quarantine. The state has to get a court order to make it mandatory. I don’t know if they’ve tried that yet.
To: EVO X
CDC so far has botched, bungled, and blown it.
I wouldn’t trust their guidelines as apparently they are designed to fail.

So if nothing is done, this sends out just a dandy message. Everyone else coming in who should be quarantined doesn’t have to comply either. Cowardice is never a good thing.

She is a liberal and actually believes that protects her from ebola.

Maine, New Jersey, and New York are liberal states, yet they acted sensibly with regard to requiring quarantine, more rationally than has the Federal government. I believe stupidity and arrogance explain a lot of the irresponsible actions of Obama and the Feds, and the sort of opinion you find on leftist and libertarian blogs. Regarding people with contagious diseases who are subjected to quarantine as civil rights cases is ludicrous. Leftist and libertarian opinions on the “rights” of potentially infected people to travel public transport like airplanes and rail or bus transit, to shop and dine as they please, etc., are nonsensical at best and malevolent at worse.
A Supreme Court justice, maybe it was Oliver Wendell Holmes, once stated that the Constitution is not a suicide pact.
To: Mogger
While she is a liberal moron, Fort Kent is pretty much real boonies, very low population. As long as they ride in the boonies, far from other people, I would consider that part of the quarantine.Liberal response:
But that is racism. Only white people live in the rural areas. The blacks from Africa are forced to live in the cities and would have to stay indoors.
