"Among the primary goals of Hungary's new Arrow Cross government was to cooperate with the Germans in their efforts to exterminate Hungary's Jews.
Pictured here are the leaders of the Arrow Cross movement at a rally held at the time of the coup that toppled the Horthy government.
Note the similarity between the Arrow Cross and Nazi salutes as well as similarly declarative insignia and symbology."

(a little historical perspective)
To: Homer_J_Simpson
Wife’s family owns a farm on the San Juanico Strait just out of Babatngon. She says they were always finding jewelry and cartridge cases and other trinkets in the rice fields. They also found a few old bunkers or foxholes that were caved in. There was an old coconut tree with a shell hole right thru it that her dad finally sawed down due to danger to the house.
Her grandpa was a Philippine Scout and she said he was very proud of that. Said he qualified for a US military pension or something but refused, said he did his work for the Philippines. He did not like the Japanese.
She’s been reading the newspapers you’ve posted and says, “I walked to school past there” or “We used to go there to buy supplies”, etc.

Been waiting for this one. My late FIL fought in this engagement, and his escort carrier was sunk. He had stories to tell.
