Could control of the Senate in 2014 be decided by illegal votes cast by non-citizens? Some argue that incidents of voting by non-citizens are so rare as to be inconsequential, with efforts to block fraud a screen for an agenda to prevent poor and minority voters from exercising the franchise, while others define such incidents as a threat to democracy itself. Both sides depend more heavily on anecdotes than data.

Voilà, the standard comeback from the Left, genially agreed to by the GOPe. The knockout blow for vote fraud could come from Republican State Legislators and A/G, and SOS.
We have been screaming about vote fraud since 1960. No progress. In fact, it is now seems firmly institutionalized and just another Democrat electoral tool.
I don’t know if he was born in Hawaii or not. I do know that he considers America nothing more than an ATM and a boarding house to further his one world schemes.
As far as I’m concerned, any American Citizen that condones Illegal Aliens and even Green Card holders Voting in our Elections is guilty of Treason.
If I was ever put on Trial, I would request that the seated Jurors PROVE they are American Citizens. Volunteers for Jury Duty are picked from the Voter Rolls. I would love to see a Judge with the fortitude to do what is necessary to uphold my Constitutional Right to a Jury of my Peers.
Apparently signing a Voter Registration form that states someone is Guilty of Perjury if they lie about their eligibility to Vote doesn’t seem to scare those Criminals. And yes, they are nothing but Criminal Felons that should face severe Punishment.
Don’t expect them to lift a finger, the Republican party is legally barred from fighting electoral fraud as part of a legal settlement dating back to 1982.
If we manage to hang onto Texas this time, I have concerns that we will not be able to hold back the onslaught (illegals), and voter apathy (no shows) for the next major election in 2016...
Almost like the Alamo 2.0
Well, I am an American, not a Republican or Democrat, and it is long past time we flushed Congress and brought the Government back under the limitations of the Constitution. Our law structure is so in opposition to the Constitution, its foundation, that very little fits inside those limitations these days. Law precedent should not override plain text, and tends to be circular logic. With circular logic as a guide, you can make statements that are clearly false such as you cannot stop corrupt voting, or illegals are entitled to social security funds.
All of that is crap, and a fifth grader knows it. Too bad our Judges are too corrupt to be smarter than a fifth grader.
Yes.
We have voter id here in NH, but anybody can get a drivers license with a little false documentation.
Another sore point is that college students will vote in their college towns and then again by absentee ballot in their home towns. There was actually one on the news a couple years ago that was boasting about it. Nothing ever came of it.
” The rats will fight tooth and nail to preserve voter fraud, in all its guises. They know that they have won many elections because of it.”
They also know we don’t fight back.
How do you really stop the voter fraud?
Thanks justiceseeker93.
“Time to put a fork in the ol’ republic I think.”
You might be right and what a shame that the process was done in full view.
The Progressives have turned the Consitution into a sucicide recipe for the republic through their subversion.
IMHO
Voter fraud’s a crime.
If illegals vote we need to have them arrested and thrown out of the country. Yes, we’re taking names...
Our research cannot answer whether the United States should move to legalize some electoral participation by non-citizens as many other countries do, and as some U.S. states did for more than 100 years, or find policies that more effectively restrict it.
To the professors who authored the posted article:
Here's a very logical two-step state policy that will more effectively restrict the "electoral participation by non-citizens", a policy which you would never have the courage to mention, certainly not in a WaPo article:
(1)Require all persons registering to vote for the first time to prove they are citizens via either (A) a birth certificate showing they were born in the US or on American soil or (B) (if not born in the US or on American soil) a certificate of naturalization. (Regrettably, this is currently the law in only a handful of states.)
(2)Arrest any non-citizen who even tries to vote and book him/her for the crime committed by so doing. Once word gets around that such arrests are really happening, non-citizens in general will be sure to stay as far away from polling places as possible. American citizenship should mean something - as the law in all states says it should.
We American citizens have had enough of this electoral cheating and fraud!!!
Eric Holder and Obama's large assembly of lawyers make sure that any attempt to prosecute voter fraud is sidelined.
With or without illegal aliens voting the main problem is that the integrity of the vote has been compromised due to ballot-stuffing.
We also need to make sure we do all we can so we don’t get a pro-amnesty presidential nominee, like Jeb Bush, et al.
Yes, I agree.
But that's a little bit of a different issue than non-citizens being allowed to vote, although it's related.
EXCELLENT!
That would save $$$$ as it will eliminate the fanciful “need” to have ballots in Spanish as immigrants from all countries and all languages must have learned English for citizenship.
We American citizens have had enough of this electoral cheating and fraud!!!
AMEN
enough is quite enough
