Craig Spencer, a 33-year-old doctor, is the first person found to have Ebola in New York City.
Since Spencer was rushed to Manhattan's Bellevue Hospital on Thursday, immediately after showing symptoms, health officials have been retracing his steps and working to identify anyone the patient may have come into contact with since returning to the United States from Guinea on Oct. 17.
As a member of Doctors Without Borders, Spencer had been treating Ebola patients in Guinea, one of the three West African countries hit hardest by the Ebola epidemic.
At a news conference on Thursday night, Mayor Bill de Blasio urged New Yorkers not be alarmed.
Ebola patients cannot spread the virus until they begin showing symptoms. Ebola is transmitted only through contact with an infected person's blood or other bodily fluids, and not through casual contact.
Here's a quick timeline of the events shortly before the time Spencer received his diagnosis, and where he traveled.

Bowling For Ebola Soup???
Did he play golf? Ride in a golf cart?
No? Dang!
This forum has more unconfirmed info on the Connetquot situation: http://www.longislandfirearms.com/forum/topic/114332-breaking-news-lif-ebola-potentiality-in-connetquot-central-school-district/
It's like he's playing a game, seeing what he can get away with. The black community is already outrageous; their leaders should be vocally with those of us who want to stop the invasion of the US. Those dreamers and other invaders (illegal and legal) cost blacks a lot of jobs.
Just think of the economic damage alone he has caused. Bowling alley alone will lose several weeks or months of business.
Same with any restaurants. People that work there wont have paychecks; etc.
If he’d visited a bath house, Barry would be worried.
FedGov keeps telling us how difficult it is to catch Ebola, but doctors attempting to treat the disease, and who presumably know how to protect themselves, keep catching it. Someone is lying.
Newsday has a story up on it now, I already posted it.
Parents, even on Long Island, are NOT going to let their own kids die on the altar of Political Correctness, or Obama worship.
Someone ELSE’S kids? Maybe. But not their own.
Being ‘liberal’ means never having to say ‘you’re sorry’ ...
They also said he went on a six mile run.
Don’t they clean the shoes for bacteria. I recall a program segment where the owner of a bowling alley said they hot steam dry the shoes. Who knows. I rather buy my own bowling shoes than renting them.
“Someone is lying”
I am not as worried about getting Ebola as I was when the first case was reported in Dallas and I live in Fort Worth. All of the people in close contact with Duncan did not come down with the disease but nurses that were there when the disease had progressed much further did. As a non professional observer I think the chances of transmitting the virus in early stages are minimal but not impossible so people that come in contact with an Ebola patient before he is hospitalized should be quarantined . Health care workers treating an escalating virus are a totally different situation and they should be extremely concerned about protecting themselves from the virus.
“and throughout his journey home” [from JFK] - by subway, and if so which ones, or by cab & if so, then whose cab??
“took the A, 1, and L trains, and visited a bowling alley in Williamsburg” - Which is in Brooklyn.
“The patient is currently at Bellevue Hospital” [27th & first ave, Manhattan] - and he got them from his apartment in Harlem how; again, by subway or by cab or by ambulance sent to him by the state???
For a doctor he really seems very dumb and negligently careless.
Picture video of the foot traffic clearing inspection stations, a newly arrived flight from an Ebola afflicted African nation into the terminal. Message details the ineffective screening that has allowed multiple entry of subsequent detected Ebola infections to pass. The voice-over delivers “Flight from... “ then “Coming to visit family in the neighborhood soon” as the punch line. Might make for a pointed commentary. Remember the “Daisy” ad?
How many Manhattanites eat every meal in their home for six days? I suspect MOST leave their micro-apartments severl times a day to stuff their pie holes. Lots of fluid transfer in a regular meal.
I’ve the same impression you have. A bit of good news about this doctor is that he self quarantined when his temp was 100.3 rather than the 103 that was initially reported in the media.
That was probably only the dry cleaning. Wanna bet at some point his underwear was thrown in a shared washer at the apartment building?
Then there’s the restaurant he went to before going bowling. He obviously ate more than that one time. Good luck to the bus boys who handled his saliva covered dishes and hope they did a good job of cleaning them before serving them to the next customers. Which brings up, did he ask for a refill and did the waiter refill his used glass at the spigot? Was the a bowl of nuts he ate from at the bar? Did he eat at a Mexican place where they pass the leftover chips to the next customers? Did he squeeze and sniff and put back peaches at the grocery store?
His girlfriend and friends need their heads examined. Ooh, honey, kiss, kiss, let’s hop into bed and you can tell me all about your trip to the hot zone later. Hopefully, the gf being embarrassed in front of her entire office will be a wake up call to refrain from whoopie for the next couple months.
No hospital can set up overnight. There’s a reason we’ve spent BILLIONS of dollars and years of construction to have the few designated LEVEL 4 units. Texas proved Frieden wrong that any ol’ podunk hospital could handle Ebola.
Ample proof that the government's "plan" to have people "self quarantine" is asinine, naive and stupid - even with so-called HEALTH PROFESSIONALS!
STOP THE DAMN FLIGHTS!
Yeah, but it WAS so cool to brag about your hipster doctor boyfriend off doctoring in exotic locations libs love to travel to...
