A single Bronx voter listed in official records as being 164 years old led Board of Elections officials to review their files where they turned up another 849 New Yorkers who were supposedly alive when Abe Lincoln was president.

A now 73 year old, who's registered as 164 years old currently, would -- at best -- have to have claimed to have been 112 at the time of his (or her, or its) first registration.
From the article: Board officials chalked up the implausible age snafu to previous practices that allowed residents not to provide their exact birthdays when registering to vote.
Some of the new voters mostly women simply wrote that they were 21+ above the legal voting age.
Since they registered under the old system, the board grandfathered them in and listed 01/01/1850 as their DOBs in the electronic voting rolls.
Old Democrats never die, they just vote away.
The Democratic Party strongly supports full civil rights for necro-Americans!
I'm guessing that you have issues reading and comprehending English.
Or you are too intellectually lazy to actually READ the article you are commenting on, because your comments indicate one or the other, or both...
Or, maybe you work for Alex Jones.
if so they are probably republicans they had to be landowners IIRC
But they are in good shape and vote early and often.
Cool. CNN should bring them in for interviews on what they did and ate to live that long.
To prevent fraud, officials would still need a written statement from voters certifying their age, even if they divulge it over the phone.
Ryan said the matter will be revisited after the Nov. 4 election.
I agree that it needs to be investigated and correct birth dates given. That should have been done when they computerized.
I suspect, rather, that election officials in NYC are much like election officials in many other liberal jurisdictions; they refuse to remove people from the rolls as a way of stuffing ballot boxes and in order to cover their asses they apply phony identities to various kinds of fraudulent practices, including the phony birth dates of long-dead voters.
Not a fan of Alex Jones in the least, but that doesn't mean I credulously gobble up every fish story served by officials of a political party which has repeatedly shown a penchant for nefarious practice.
Translation: it will not be.
My mother is still on the nyc voting list and she died 17 years ago.The Board of elections has been notified many times even with a death certificate.

Stand back.
Clear the runway.
I’m flying to New York. Gonna live forever.
I have been both a Clerk and Judge of Elections, and I want you to imagine what would happen in NYC if NY State adopted the same procedures being used this November in Colorado: Many of these '164 year olds' are, in fact dead. In CO, a ballot would be mailed to their last known address. It would very likely be cast and returned. At that point there is no way to invalidate it. The same thing can easily happen in many precincts in NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia, ... where there is no one effectively supervising the live vote, and the same person is able to vote multiple times with what are actually defunct registrations.
Let me tell you what else they do in those jurisdictions. They deliberately show up at the wrong precinct with a defunct registration; pretend to be confused, pretend not to speak English, pretend they can't get transportation to the correct precinct, or have some other act. They're then allowed to vote in the wrong precinct. The vote goes into the provisional ballot set. Guess what? It's verified as being a registration in the other precinct, after the fact, but there is now no one who might know the voter who can verify the ID. There is now no one present who can say -- hey, that 73 year old woman voted an hour ago.
The point that too many people are missing here is that election officials deliberately falsified part of the voters identity. What other parts could they have falsified?
