FTA: "They’re suing because of the difficulties of raising a black child in a white community" HUH? Apparently one of these "parental units" came from an old fashioned "straight-laced uptight White" WASPish ultra-conservative type of community Surely these folks already know she's a lesbian and an unwed mother, how much worse could it be for them now that the townsfolk know her baby is bi-racial? Seems to me the "mother" is looking to establish a trust fund for the child, loking for a nifty settlement, or, as is the case with so many homosexuals, she just wants to ***ATTRACT ATTENTION TO HERSELF!!!**** If she really cared for child's well-being she wouldn't have fied such a lawsuit in the first place, the potential emotional and psych damage to the child would be much worse than any strange looks the kid would get from any White person. If they really felt the need to sue, they should have done it discreetly and respond to any questions from the media with the words "TALK TO MY ATTORNEY".
