Attorney General Eric Holder said that his biggest failure during his time as head of the Justice Department was failing to pass expanded gun control laws and criticized former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta for his negative characterizations of the president during an interview aired on Mondays broadcast of The Lead on CNN.
I think the inability to pass reasonable gun safety laws after the Newtown massacre is, for me, something that I take personally as a failure, and something that I think we as a society should take as a failure he stated when asked what he considered his greatest failure.

Well General Holder if you really feel that way, perhaps you should have been a congressman or senator rather than Atorney General. The executive branch executes law. It is the legislative branch that writes law.
Same logic that kicked out the trial of the New Black Panthers in Philly.
see tagline :-)
“... for me, something that I take personally as a failure,..”
YOUR ARE A FAILURE! A FAILURE!
Now go home and open a vein.
Stunning federal corruption case moving forward with almost no media attention
Read it, you and me both FRiend...
‘Uh....fast and furious....guns....illegally sent to Mexico...by him....with hundreds, if not thousands, of many innocent people...killed. Oh well, glad to see he has such a well-formed conscience and understands the subtle nuances of gun-control by the government’
Exactly. Holder doesn’t see piles of dead bodies, mostly Mexican but some American, killed by the guns *he gave* the drug cartels, as a failure. No doubt, like his boss, he sees them merely as bumps in the road.
Warped, & that’s putting it kindly.
Hmmm...I didn’t know that Mr. Holder was in Congress, or President, therefore I didn’t know that Gun Control was something that JUSTICE Department had any effect on.
?that his biggest failure during his time as head of the Justice Department was failing to pass expanded gun control laws?
Congressman holder I presume. Knuckle head contempt prise winner.
I forgot that the attorney general was supposed to be the legislature. I must have American Civics all messed up.
Holders biggest is failure is to not pass gun control, did I miss something in his job description? Isn’t the A.G.’s job to enforce the laws of the country, not to legislate? Well that’s your your problem right there, not only is he a racist, he never even understood what his job was!
I had no idea Derrick Holden was a legislator, too!
Nope. It’s easier for a street hood to get a gun than a law abiding citizen having to jump through all sorts of hoops to obtain one.
When did the AG start having the power to pass legislation?
Besides shipping weapons to Mexican gangs, he was supposed to be enforcing the law.
F&F relied upon the death of random innocents... it is depraved in the extreme. It’s a crime against humanity.
Typical Obama crony - his biggest “failure” was the one area in which he couldn’t subvert the Constitution.
Fail and Furious.
This idiot thinks he was a legislator.
His biggest failure - it is tough to rank them, and many were very severe.
My take: Illegally running guns to Mexican drug dealers in an effort to sway public opinion and the US Congress to pass stricter gun laws. (because the damage caused by the “guns” was too much too take without a legislative response.)
If the GOP had a spine, Holder would be in jail for this crime.
