Rumors swirled Nina Pham’s boyfriend was “secretly” admitted to a hospital with Ebola-like symptoms though nothing has officially been confirmed. Pham was the first person to contract the deadly virus on U.S. soil after she treated Thomas Eric Duncan. National fear rose the Ebola diagnosis rate would grow in the U.S. after Pham contracted the infection, especially if she had spread it to her unidentified boyfriend. Jeff George, the CEO of Alcon, a Fort Worth, Texas, company that specializes in eye care products, sent an email to staff saying someone at the company was hospitalized with Ebola-like symptoms, Got News

Checking Twitter I did read employees where Phams BF worked, said he has not been at work since the first reports of him checking in to the hospital. The coverup has begun, don't believe anything that comes from the media!

Thank you for keeping us informed with the truth. The drivebys in the lamestream media are complicit with hussein in not revealing factual information. As was the case with the lies of Dan Rather and the fake birth certificate, Free Republic remains the one reliable source for honest news.
Ebola-like symptoms means nothing in this day of enterovirus D-68 , and influenza, and head colds.
At present , this is acknowledged as little more than a rumor of symptoms , with a possible admittance of October 13th .
Since the employer, Alcon ,sent out a statement advising much the same thing.
However , since the employer is involved in the production of sterilized eye care and surgical implements,
the nature of the position of boyfriends' employment may be of some concern to to those who use the Alcon products .
At present , the symptoms remain little more than rumor, as is his admittance to Texas Presbyterian Hospital.
It's the "secret" part that bothers me. Although it wouldn't be a surprise. A real lot of people with "flu-like symptoms" were tested and we were told they didn't have Ebola. Which is odd, because there isn't any news of a flu outbreak yet, so it seems to be a "flu" unique to people who've been exposed to Ebola.
Gosh, I've become so cynical.
Not to say that this is the case, but I hope it is: I could definitely see someone who had been in close quarters with an ebola patient developing psychosomatic “flu-like symptoms.” I think I probably would, especially since every time you flick on the tube they’re talking ebola.
Thankfully Free Republic is a time-tested standard upon which we can reply for factual, accurate information.
It's not good news that this young man is now potentially infected, but it's good that the American public is now apprised of the media's willful distortion of reality in order to support their preferred political party.
