Greetings fellow FReepers! Well after a very long & PAINFUL trip we are now here in Foley,Mo. in the new digs. Did I happen to mention painful...I dropped an 110 year old upright piano in my left leg right at my knee, leaving it about the size of a basketball, with a very deep bruise from half way down my thigh, to the top half of my calf. The va doc.’s said there is nothing broken, but it sure felt like there was. So try moving in a very hurt condition....The trip was a nightmare, but I’ll go more into detail later...I’m just darned glad to be back here with you guys!
LOL....ever the straight man Prof!
I’ll take your word on that, sir. How does one go about eating an essay, anyway?
You’ve never had to eat your words? It’s a lot like eating crow. It’s best when fricasseed.
Well, I suppose I have a few times. They seem to go down better with a little hot sauce.
And always right on time...whatever time it is! ;-}
Good evening Speed Racer! *Hugs*
How are things in your part of the world these days?
Kitties & the Missus doing well?
Yes, the Chilula is better than Tabasco.
Good evening, Publius, and thank you for Rachmaninov’s “The Star Spangled Banner”.

Hope your work week is ending on a good note & not toooo many errands this weekend.
Mom doing well? *Hugs*
I prefer Tapatio myself.
Well, they’ve been better. I got laid off at the end of September. OTOH, last week the SCCA Runoffs (their national championships for club racing) came to Laguna Seca and I was there for the entire week as an assistant chief on the Flagging & Communications crew. I got to meet a lot of people who love racing as much as I do, and I sure hope I can do it again someday!
Oh, and there were some good races, though not all of them were decided on track. For one example, Spec Miata was subject to a protest; the tenth-place qualifier filed a protest after they had finished qualifying against all nine cars that qualified ahead of him. Eight of them were found to be out of compliance, so the championship ended up going to the seventh-place finisher on track. This is a Runoffs record.
I’m really hoping I can make the ‘16 Runoffs at Mid-Ohio (next year’s event is at Daytona), but I hear tell they might come back to the West Coast for 2017.
Soooo glad to read you’ve made the trip! *Hugs*
I saw the pic of your leg.....man that was one NASTY contusion!
I don’t know how you could even walk with that injury & was worried it would hamper the move.
So....how are things at compund Suchman? How happy are you all to finally be there?
Oh, and Mrs. Tweeze and the furbabies are all doing quite well. I can understand though, now that I’ve had a few days at home, how they can drive Mrs. Tweeze crazy. They’re starting to make ME a little crazy!
