Rough week and I’m sick. Fighting a cold, bad headache, lack of sleep. Couldn’t make it thru the morning yesterday. Today was a barrage of problems. (And my mouse just died.) Took most of the day to get 8 people paid. New projects, no numbers, “you cannot use that number”, “that project does not allow xxx”, “that number may not be used with this number”.... It was a nightmare. We finally prevailed, but good grief!! A calm day would have been nice.

Know any good handymen? I can’t seem to find a reliable one.

Mom is doing ok. I’m trying not to bite off my tongue. The newest issue is “the bathroom door downstairs should have a second lock on the door”. Why? “Because someone might walk in.” Has anyone every walked in on you? “No.” Then why after all these years would we need one? If guests are staying down there, you would never just walk in, and usually it is family staying down there, and you still would never open the closed door to the bathroom, would you? “No.”

Tonight was, “If we don’t put a second lock on the door, then you need to get a sign that says, “Knock before entering”.

Ballad of Davy Crockett...when I was a kid we had these little yellow records of Disney Tunes. They were 78s, but the diameter of 45s. I think Mike Fink was on the other side of Davy Crockett.
