I’ll bet they’re not being taught how to land.

The ISIS Air-force?
Is this the latest big threat?
Are these people joking?

Should not be hard to take these planes out.

One F-22 can take care of this with no problem other than burning up some AMRAAMs in the inventory.

So they have three Migs? I wonder how many will still be operational after a few more hours flying time? I doubt that the quality of maintenance and parts availability are anything to write home about.
Even if they do fly, I wouldn't want to be the sorry bastard who takes one of those old Migs up against some American fighter jock.

They can fly 'em, but they can't maintain them.
Not stereotyping here, but middle-eastern men are notoriously lazy about system maintenance, (which is why they love AKs - shake out the dust and keep going...).

Well it just isn’t fair that we have jets and they don’t. This will fix that. (Whatdayabet those 3 jets are scrap metal by the end of the week).

Why haven’t all ISIS aircraft installations been reduced to rubble by our carrier jets? (like all the empty building bombed.

“MiG 21 or MiG 23”
The new pilots will be prey, and therefore should pray before takeoff.

I read somewhere these were Syrian MiG 21’s. Old, fast little buggers with very little ability to turn. Basically targets for any Gen4 fighter. I predict that each will be a smokinig hole if they ever get frisky with navy Hornets.

Hornet pilots’ hands probably itch to have an encounter with ISIS planes.

Better get them trained quickly. Camel drivers do not good fighter pilots make! Iran bought a load of F-14’s back in the days of the Shah. Those “Tomcats” are all static displays now. The USAF mechanics and Grumman advisors/instructors left with the Shah and that was the end of that program.
Life expectancy of a towel head flying a MIG 23 could be seconds after engagement, minutes if the USN jock was eating supper in the “Hornet” cockpit!
