Preparedness: Earlier this week, Sen. John McCain called for an Ebola czar, not knowing one already effectively exists. Why should he, since Nicole Lurie, M.D., M.S.P.H., has been completely M.I.A.
You have to wonder sometimes if anyone in a leadership position in the Obama administration bothers to show up to work these days.
Case in point is Dr. Nicole Lurie, who arguably should be front and center in planning for and responding to the Ebola outbreak. After all, it's right there in her job title.

Looking at that freak, I can see why they are not having this imposter as a person, front and center of the cameras.
Her job is to send money to Obama donors; not to actually do anything medical.

After all, it's right there in her job title. She's the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, a position created in the wake of Hurricane Katrina that reports directly to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Her mission, according to the HHS website, is "to lead the nation in preventing, responding to and recovering from the adverse health effects of public health emergencies."
Just another top notch obama appointee, that rarely goes to work, does nothing when there, and leaves no email trail of where she's been or what she's done.
A few words from our Ebola Czar from a news story about her:
“On May 19, Lurie delivered the graduation address for the Perelman School of Medicine.... When Lurie was an undergraduate at Penn, she did not plan to become a doctor; her goal was to address poverty. As a sophomore, however, she spotted a listing for a course called “Health Care as a Human Right.” I began working for the professor, a remarkable man named Sam Martin, who became my lifelong mentor. Through him, I came to see medicine as a tool for promoting social justice and reforming the health-care system as a key component of that effort.”
Same buzz words, same thought patterns, same lib as her boss.
You assume that because it is in her title she is to DEFEND the US from Ebola...
