Turkish jets bombed targets in the southeast of Turkey where members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) are based, the first strikes on the outlawed group since a 2013 ceasefire, a security source said.

I'd put a bundle in my pocket and do it the Mexican Way....bribery!!
The Turks want ISiS/ISIL to win.
They used to rule the Caliphate, and have dreams of doing so again.
We need to take a hard look at our supposed ally.
Isn't it more like the Turks want ISIS to defeat the Kurds and to defeat Assad, and then they want NATO to come to Turkey's defense when ISIS turns against them?
No, the Turks want to restart the Caliphate.
Once you get outside of the major cities (Ankara and Istanbul) they are very supportive of ISIS.
Can’t believe we aren’t seeing big explosions in turkey and russia from friends and relatives they’ve killed.
Can’t believe no one has nuked iran, yet.
Hey, they’re our good NATO buddies.
Which goes to prove that the Turks in the country side have not changed since I was there in the late 60s - who had not changed since the Ottoman Empire/Caliphate - who had not changed since the 700 hundreds AD.
Yep, they are on the list.
BUT ISIS (ISIL) ARE NOT ON THE LIST.
Read between the lines. Treachery with no limit.
Obozo is in on deal with Saudis and Turks.
Not entirely accurate. The Caliphate was long gone by the time of the Ottomans. Turkish people actually come from the Far east and ruled with Mongols much of ASIA and middle east. Mongolia rule practiced religious tolerance. This survived the early Ottoman empire that started in Constantinople. It wasn't until the rulers figured out it was easier to control population with Islam (meaning submission not peace) did the Ottomans implemented Islam on the empire.
PKK helped YPG (Kurdish in Syria). YPG is an affiliate of PKK (another Kurdish grp). They both helped Peshmerga Kurds in Iraq rescuing Yezidis and fighting I.S. (ISIS). A fact that was hardly publicized.
It really depends on who is "officially" considered a terrorist. PKK and YPG are not terrorists, and certainly PKK, Before I.S. suddenly appeared on the scene, was actively attempting to make peace with Turkey after being persecuted, as a Kurdish group, by Turkey for many years.
It’s clear that the Turks are following the same strategy that Stalin employed during the Warsaw uprising (stand back, block any help to the Poles and let the Nazis destroy the Polish fighters). That was evil back then and it is evil now.
Islamist Turkey is NOT our friend and should no longer be a member of NATO and thus privy to NATO’s military secrets. Turkey is ACTIVELY PREVENTING KURDISH REINFORCEMENTS from being able to help the Kurds under siege in northern Syria.
Just what have the Turks done since 911 to justify them remaining in NATO?
They support Ham@ss and never let NATO use their air bases in Turkey. Their leader ERDO the Turdo is a radical Muzzie.
My thoughts, have said it before a few times on FR, it’s time to re-think NATO and its aim/objective/purpose and members.
Yeah. Something like that. Erdogan is quivering at the prospect of regaining the Caliphate for Istanbul without having to do the initial labor to make it happen. ISIS is doing just fine. The Turks are sure they can mop up ISIS and take control themselves with or without NATO and probably get American and Euro approval for their actions in smashing the dreaded ISIS. There might even be a bonus if the USA secretly manages to funnel enough arms and equipment to the ISIls to knock out Israel as well.
Forget the Turks, support the Kurds. The Turks are becoming more radically Muslim while the Kurds are becoming less. Turkey is also not a very reliable ally in NATO like they used to be.
