And the way that Turkey has turned a blind eye while Kurdish fighters in Northern Syria have died at ISIS hands, it's one I'm tempted to support their cause. Truly, if history has shown us anything, it's that the Kurds of northern Iraq, northern Syria and southern Turkey deserve to have their own nation as pogroms by these countries have threatened to wipe them out.

This is why (at least from what I've read), the provincial Kurd government in northern Iraq supports Israel because they feel a kindship with them and understand them as they have been through the same type of discriminations and pogroms.
