Theres no good time to tell a guy youre a virgin. First date? Too much, too soon. Wait until the third date and you risk being considered a tease. Second date? Perhaps, but at this point youre both still fretting over whether or not to eat another piece of bread; delving into sexual histories (or lack thereof) seems a bit extreme. So: Theres no good time to tell a guy youre a virgin. Even worse? Telling him youre waiting until marriage.

HEY !
I haven’t seen discussion. I’ve read statements that read like journals from Puritan times. Discussion? Nope.
And, no it isn’t close to being a discussion from many posters. Far too many are afraid of voicing their opinions, just like in real life. In real life we have the liberal Nazis and here we have the so called conservatives.
Perhaps consider a search of the Bible, for these terms
fornicat
whore
the terms will include verses with any words containing those strings.

The first has 40 results, the second, 65.
Upon one’s conversion to Christ, habitual sin of fornication should cease. It did for me. And “I” had nothing to “do with it”, being too afraid to commit to actually making changes in my life so dramatic. At a certain point after agonizing about this and other aspects of being a believer in Christ, my change in attitude just happened, and was quite beyond my control. Scripture suddenly became simpler, clearer - and something I looked forward to with delight rather than anxiety.
Any time we see habitual grave sins (in ourselves or others), it should “ring a bell” in our mind. We should see that the person is not living according to the Word of God.
Repentence is obviously needed.
Yes, there will always be some sin in the lives of true believers - true believers are NOT perfect. But if we find ourselves committing grave sins... especially habitually... that bell should be going off in our mind, we should feel a dire need to repent - and repentence involves not only admitting the sin is a sin, admitting that we did it, but also committing to “go and sin no more”. And we should find ourselves having success at that, for that particular sin.
The Book of Romans is, of course, an excellent guide on this subject.
I so hope you’re kidding but if not, then you are insane too
To easy to meal date, free drinks too. We call them wenches in the biz of the bar. She’ll soon be an over the hill bar whore.
OMG I should hate this post but I’m laughing my ass off!
ifinnegan, I assure you I have no comprehension problems. If you want to belabor this point, have at it. I’ll win.
Watch out, I've got dozens of stories...lol
Life's tough enough as it is, but it's worse if you can't laugh. Usually, I direct the jokes at myself.
Maybe she doesn't want to be used and dumped, only to end up with some kind of disease.
And maybe she is serious about her Christian faith, too, unlike so many other people.
Hey! You usually have the best posts ;)
Who, moi ?
Night, we are twins! HAHA. I am the same way. Get it from my Dad. Humor is everything! Life IS hard and humor makes it easier.
If your stories make me smile or laugh, start telling them lol.
Yes you. I may not always agree with them but I always appreciate them. And I usually agree with them, lol.
My wife is one of seven daughters. I've got a couple of SIL's that never married, and they are PITAs to the max.
All seven take after their mother, who was the hard-driving matriarch of the family. She had to be that way, she had 10 kids, and my FIL was always working double shifts to keep food on the table.
Many years ago, my wife really got on my nerves while we were in the car. Finally in exasperation, I purposely called her by her mother's name.
I got her attention, but I haven't done that since...lol.
I’ve come to the conclusion that bitter angry unsatisfied and hurt gals are perhaps our primary demographic here....married or spinster
They detest the times......as do I but probably for different reasons
I’m sorry for their pickle though....I mean that sincerely
Want hurts.
I’d wish feeling loved and wanted and in these cases...respected...on all of them.
Being loved is maybe the primary emotional need.
I think we were all better off with the old roles.......its all so screwed up yet celebrated
Even though that train long ago left without us...my dear wife of many yea s and I often muse the specialness had we both been virgins for each other
My folks were.....I can see the bond of it all now
Well, tankyouveddymuch.
I actually used the mom...or sister comparison on my 15 year old today
Talking about slutty crazy girls and guys who sample that....it started with Lena Dunham
I said I sure never did and I bet those girls regretted it down the road
I said never treat a woman in a way you wouldn’t want your mom...who he adores..or one of your two sisters treated
I think that sends home a message about perspective....not saying you can’t have consensual naughtiness with your mate but just because a girl wants a gang bang or humiliation ...don’t go along
In fact...speak up....say it ain’t right. If you’re there
Or leave....too many girls get second thoughts days later when talk starts
And they file charges
To hear 20 something guys I know today...90% of young women...are just like men in sexual openness
Can’t blame men for all that girls.....I blame feminism frankly
So you are yet another who insist that God sinned in Genesis Chapter 24?
The nose ring sent to Rebekah (verse 22) was really wicked?
As it happens, and as several of us have pointed out, this particular piece of jewelry does appear in scripture. In a positive way.
Contrary to you personal prejudices and contrary to the traditions of men you may have been taught modest amounts of jewelry are fine.
Her glasses are crooked. Looks like someone already hit it.
You are amazed that there are people with little moral compass in contemporary American society?
