Holding her beloved dog, this is the first picture of Nina Pham, the courageous nurse who contracted Ebola while treating 'patient zero' Thomas Eric Duncan – the man who brought the deadly virus to America.
The 26-year-old, from Fort Worth, Texas, was one of the team of medical staff who treated Mr Duncan at the Dallas Presbyterian Hospital before he died from the dreaded virus last week.

To tell the truth, I wanted to see a picture of her to help identify WITH HER at this tough time in her life.
I am interested in her story. I’m not buying that she breached protocol. In fact, I think it would be best to start with the theory she didn’t breach protocol, and try to figure out what else could have possibly led to her infection.
The CDC has it precisely back ass-wards here. AGAIN!

Having worked for 20 years in a big city hospital I’ve developed an enormous respect for nurses.I’ve seen their dedication,unselfishness,determination and skill up close and personal.As a result I sincerely hope that this brave young woman makes it.
The first human clinical trials of a Canadian-developed Ebola vaccine, VSV-EBOV, begin in Maryland today to assess the vaccine’s safety and determine the appropriate dosage to fight the virus that has killed more than 4,000 people, largely in West Africa, Health Minister Rona Ambrose announces.

The vaccine, which was developed by scientists at the Public Health Agency of Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, has proven safe in animals and will be tested on 20 healthy volunteers at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, Md.
The results from the Phase 1 human trials will be completed by December, Ambrose said, although no specific date was given.
I blame POTUS Obama for this Ebola breakout here in the USA!!! If this poor woman dies from Ebola....her blood will be dripping from the hands of POTUS barcak Hussein Obama, for failing rto cancel all flights in and out of the infected Ebola areas of west Africa.......immediately. Had that happened Mr. duncan never would have been in the USA!!! Both Great Britain, France and a good number of “African” countries, did exactly that....cancelled flights from infected West African nations!!! Obama was well inofrmed about the growing danger of Ebola in Africa....but chose politics over safety of the American people!!!

As I understand it, the only treatment for Ebola is to manage the symptoms. So, no degree of medical care is going to prevent her from going through hell and back....and that’s the best case scenario.
All thanks to the arse-hole who flew over here knowing he was infected. And now some members of his tribe want to sue the hospital!

I feel the same way. Sure in every profession, there’s people who have slipped through that should not be there, though the majority of all the nurses really give a lot back in so many ways which some can’t see unless they have been around them in some degree. The young dedicated nurses are some of the best with great outlooks in serving others.

to others who blamed Duncan’s death to race, who thought we owed Duncan in some ways......
