Nina Pham, 26, caught the Ebola virus while treating Thomas Eric Duncan at Dallas Presbyterian Hospital before his death
Miss Pham was raised in Vietnamese family in Fort Worth and graduated from Texas Christian University in 2010 with Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Friends described her as compassionate and devoted to her vocation HazChem teams spent the weekend fumigating her Dallas apartment
Dallas Mayor said her beloved King Charles Spaniel will not be destroyed
Authorities have blamed a 'breach of protocol' - but nursing leaders have criticized the CDC for making her a scapegoat
Holding her beloved dog, this is the first picture of Nina Pham, the courageous nurse who contracted Ebola while treating 'patient zero' Thomas Eric Duncan the man who brought the deadly virus to America.
The 26-year-old, from Fort Worth, Texas, was one of the team of medical staff who treated Mr Duncan at the Dallas Presbyterian Hospital before he died from the dreaded virus last week.

FIRST PICTURE: Devoted Texas nurse fighting for her life after catching Ebola while treating man who brought dreaded virus to America - with her beloved dog who's also now in quarantine
My thread from last night that named Nina Pham as the infected person got pulled by the mods, because “We don’t name people”.
Funny how things change in just 10 hours, eh?
Prayers up for this young lady.
for the truth about the USA one must now read a British newspaper.
American newspapers won’t show her photo because they are cowards and they are political.
And, this is a totally different name than CNN was giving out yesterday,
Amen.
Tragic.

“Was it revealed through a news source”
Officials weren’t giving the name out at the request of the family, but it was broken last night on Twitter by GotNews.Com, a newser website.
Yes
“She breached protocol”... and if that doesn’t work, “Bush’s fault.”
I sure hope she recovers. The MSM and the CDC are not exactly honest and prompt sources of info.
Sooo typical of the federal medical bureaucracy— it is NEVER their fault, and it wasnt’ the VA’s fault either— THEY LIE!!
Just like their ‘dear leader’.
It is also— sorry to say— much easier to blame the nurse, (like always blaming a pilot)— as the nurse is a Vietnamese-American, the uh, less-favored minority. Less so than the “illegal” Liberians who are so “outraged” and the dude’s family who has not apologized for the selfish murderous act of bringing this to our land.
Will she and her family be able to sue the Duncan family for his illegally skirting the travel ban from Liberia?
I am praying for her. The nurses are standing up for her while the CDC are using this nurse as a scapegoat for the blame. Such a dedicated person and people are blaming her which is mind boggling to do so. She probably appreciates everyone’s thoughts and prayers. Poor girl, relying on this CDC to help her. I hope they have caught this in time to save her life.
Such a happy little world, ripped right out of it and into the glare of scrutiny while fearing for her life. Don’t participate in dragging her through the internet meat grinder, leave her alone. It’s bad enough already.
