"This is not a coffee and donut shop," Jan Morgan, owner of the Gun Cave Indoor Shooting Range in Hot Springs, Ark., wrote in an online post last month. "This is a live fire indoor shooting range ... Why would I want to rent or sell a gun and hand ammunition to someone who aligns himself with a religion that commands him to kill me?"
Morgan, who says she has "read and studied" the Koran thoroughly, found "109 verses commanding hate, murder and terror against all human beings who refuse to submit or convert to Islam." ... Morgan claims that when she received her license to sell guns, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives informed her "that if we feel ANY reason for concern about selling someone a firearm, even sense that something is not right about an individual, or if we are concerned about that [person's] mental state, even if they pass a background check, we do not have to sell that person a gun. Two different ATF agents stressed that it is better to err on the side of caution. In other words, a federal agency has given [gun shops] discretion on firearms deals.
"I understand that not all Muslims are terrorists," Morgan continued. "I also believe there are as many Muslims who do not know what is in their Koran as there are Christians who do not know what is in their Bible. Since I have no way of discerning which Muslims will or will not kill in the name of their religion and the commands in their Koran, I choose to err on the side of caution for the safety of my patrons."

You can also network such that payments don’t have to come through CAIR at all.
They are merely the agents of donations.
They use their organizational skills to express a need to deep pockets, and those deep pockets donate to where CAIR directs them to.
I agree with your take on this. You can be very creative when you want to.
CAIR should be an outlawed terrorist outlet. Each of the Islamic special interest concerns are IMO.
When did the owner lose the right to their private property? If I have a permit from the government to cut hair, can I cut your hair if I walk into your back yard?
Shooting guns isn’t a right as the government has shown.
My range allows muzzies. One of the targets you can buy there is an Achmed target.
Create a questionnaire for membership.
Do you belong to a group that teaches the mass killing of people not belonging to your group?
Do you belong to a group that teaches the extermination of Jews and Christians?
Do you belong to a group that teaches the practice of slavery?
Do you belong to a group that advocates physical punishment of women?
Tell that to the people being forced to provide wedding services to homosexual couples.
Agreed.
Morgan has a REAL chance here to expose the Koran in all its murderous bile - and expose CAIR as the American arm of Hamas. If she got a few million behind her, this could devastate the Virtual Caliphate, and they would cry uncle.
How does she determine if someone is muslim or not?
Austria just banned all foreign funds for mosques and Muslim organizations.
This lawsuit was a foregone conclusion as soon as the owner’s decision to bar people on the basis of their religion made the news. Solution would probably be to declare the range a private club with an initiation fee and membership review committee. And a requirement that all members must use bullets dipped in a bit of pork fat wouldn’t hurt.
A private business should be able to decline to do business anyone for any reason no matter how serious or how frivolous.
I would support this even if he were not allowing Christians or Buddhists or whatever. It makes no difference. It is his business and his choice.
That said, I don’t know how you would know in some cases what a person’s religion is. So it doesn’t make a lot of logical sense. Even so, he should have the option of declining to do business with anyone he chooses.
You are, in part. Contributions to CAIR are tax deductible. It’s a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
This is not discrimination, because many businesses are under legal regimes in which they cannot be compelled to provide products or services to people for whom that would be inappropriate.
Bars cannot be forced to sell alcohol to a person who is underage, a person who is inebriated, a pregnant woman, etc.
Restaurants cannot be compelled to serve people who are not wearing shirts and shoes.
And those who sell guns and ammo have huge latitude to who they can refuse to sell, including their subjective opinion.
It's in the penumbra, alongside abortion, the right to gay "marriage" and and all the other nonsense liberals pretend is in there.
What happened to freedom of association?
She needs to do like they did at LAKE NIXON west of Little Rock back in the 1960s to keep “undesirables” out of their swimming areas.
They sold memberships for a small amount. Any undesirable who came up they said they were out of memberships.
It worked for a while.
Phew.
I was afraid I’d missed it in the main body or in the amendments...
;-)
Texas? The range is in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Try reading even the first line of the excerpt.
We need more like her.
Islam is at war with Eastern civilization and America in particular. Why would an America want to be standing next to a muslim at a gun range with the muslim having gun?????
