Only a small number of highly trained U.S. troops among the thousands bound for West Africa will have direct contact with potential Ebola patients, military leaders said Tuesday. Those soldiers will be posted at testing labs to help identify people showing Ebola-like symptoms. They meet the highest level of standards and are already trained to deal with major crises, including nuclear disasters, said U.S. Army Gen. David Rodriguez, the commander of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM).
Rodriguez also pledged during a Pentagon news conference that the 4,000 service members deployed to the ravaged region will be kept safe and wont be a threat when they return home. The military is using a combination of redeployment training, strict protocols and careful reintegration back into the U.S. to protect these troops. I am confident we can ensure our service members safety and the safety of the American people, Rodriguez said.

You haven’t denied being OK with the 101st having exposure to ebola in an ebola hot zone.
Do you approve of the 101st being exposed to ebola in an ebola hot zone?
yes. Or no.
Hasn’t the US Military use our soldiers as human experiments? I could be wrong but it was with American African soldiers. We have not learned anything from the past.
You really don’t have anything worth posting do you, just flailing rage.
No rage. Just a surety that you’re OK with exposing the tip of our military spear to ebola in an ebola hot zone.
ISIS would be proud!
OMG I miss him. He was quite a character. Always enjoy looking forward to his annoucements.
Whats to keep a fly from landing on Ebola fluid then landing on someones face 500 feet away?
Not only flailing rage, but a dump truck of lies, as you just keep making up fake positions and fake posts and claims, while ignoring the actual posts.
That is a dishonest troll trying to sell swampland.
You’re still not denying you think it’s a great idea to expose the 101st to ebola in an ebola hot zone.
Keep digging.
it was posted in a story here that i read last week. all the first wave got special was g-d hand gel.
i would not have gotten on those planes. that is not usgov doing their absolute best to equip me to do such a mission. dying in combat may be a sad fact. i won’t die because someone can’t give me anything to help me for a dangerous mission. at least the guys in combat have the tools and gear to have a fighting chance. they don’t drop them all in unarmed and expect them to succeed.
Bastards
You need to get a grip on yourself, you have spun out of control on other threads, and you have done it on this one.
Just take a break and try to regain some composure.
I’m not the one advocating sending the 101st to an ebola hotzone.
That’s out of control.
I think soldiers have been used as guinea pigs, but I don’t think it was only African Americans and I don’t recall the exact circumstances.
Not enough to cause a revolt apparently.
Even I noticed you refuse to answer the question, not like you at all ansel.
I believe the question required a simple Yes or No answer.
Watching the blast: Soldiers in the 1950s witnessed atomic bomb explosions from close range
Have you read the thread?
There's NOT ONE doctor at the CDC who would suggest dealing with an ebola patient armed only with hand sanitizer. CDC doctors need to speak up if this story is true.
And it feels true...
After all, this is the military that allowed our SEALS to be murdered at Benghazi. I suspect Benghazi was a dry run to see if American top brass would 'follow orders and safeguard their positions and pensions'....
