The decision to die is between an individual and his/her God.

This one is heartbreaking but understandable.

PLEASE stand back and let her implement her decision, Stateist busybodies...

The decision of when you die is God’s to make, not yours. I have to respectfully disagree with you. People should not be given a decision between dying naturally and committing suicide. Miracles happen, and life is sacred. You should grasp at it like a man stumbling over a cliff grasps to the roots of one clump of grass. He knows that it cannot possibly hold, but he tries anyways, hoping against all hope that a miracle will occur knowing the clump will not save him, but delay his fate.

Thing is, miracles do happen.

Well, no. A third party has now been introduced into your "decision to die": a medical facility and staff who are going to help kill this woman. This is where a very important line is crossed.

And if that doesn't make you pause, think about a medical insurance company -- or government bureaucracy -- that has a huge financial interest in seeing this woman die quickly.

These are not the Statist Busybodies you are looking for...

The trend these days is to permit this sort of decision. The problem lies in the government making that decision for us. And now that government is going to be paying the bills, you can be sure their thumb is going to be on the "suicide" side of the scale.

When Obama says that the 70-year-old grandmother should just get the pain pills instead of the heart surgery, he is not letting her die with dignity. He is just letting her die, cheaply. Whether or not there is dignity is not his concern.

The individual is free to off themselves in private. Please leave the health care industry out of it to heal individuals, totalitarian reprobates...

No, the decision is God’s alone. You get zero input and you have no right to even think about bargaining with God’s will.

You do not have the right to end your own life just because you want to and think it will be easier than suffering. Christ suffered, that’s all you need to know.

Amen.....I don't for a second believe God will condemn her to hell for her own choice of death over suffering and agony in her remaining days.
