The judge who approved the raid should be dragged into court and be convicted of manslaughter along with whomever applied for the warrant. The officers who pulled the trigger should be charged with murder one. The families of all officialdom involved should have all assets seized and be put to work in a soup kitchen as that will be the only way they can afford to eat.
I am not shocked that the perp made his silly allegation. I am shocked that anybody listened to him.

Maybe if police acted like civilized professionals instead of evil characters from a sci-fi action flick these things wouldn’t happen. There is no excuse for police to do no knock warrants or dress like military thugs.

There will be more to the story. People should have all the facts before jumping to a conclusion one way or the other:
In the warrant application, Laurens investigator Chris Brewer wrote that he knew Hooks and his home address from a previous investigation. Brewer said a suspect claimed he had been supplying "multiple ounces" of methamphetamine to Hooks, who re-sold it.

Jesse and Al are on their way - and Holder will be holding a press conference - all to egg on all those protestors -
Oh wait: the guy was a white man - right? I mean, there’s no rioting and looting - must’ve been white man.

My guess: the car thief was believed because they were salivating over all the assets they could seize.
Why not just call the owner in for questioning, regarding drugs found in his stolen car?
Why send a camouflaged SWAT team, for crying out loud?
I've seen few clearer indications that modern domestic police forces view citizens as the enemy and believe that they are at war with them.
