DALLAS - Authorities in Dallas are trying to locate a homeless person who might have had contact with the lone Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S.
Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins didn't identify the person, whom he described as a "low-risk individual identified as a contact." He stressed that the effort to locate the person was precautionary and that the person had not committed a crime.
"We are working to locate the individual and get him to a comfortable, compassionate place where we can monitor him and care for his every need for the full incubation period," Jenkins said.
CBS Dallas reporter J.D. Miles tweeted that officials described him as a "panhandler."

It is not a recurrence.
It could be possible persistence; and there are
locations where the virus can live, after remission.
There is insufficient info to discriminate
in this patient opportunistic infection
vs. latent persistent Ebola infection ... or both.
Another circus is going on in Massachusetts. A doctor treated in Nebraska was thought to be cured. He has since been hospitalized and is in isolation for coughs and fever — but officials say there is nothing to worry about.
In English? The point I was making was, they stated he was cured and cleared. No danger to anyone, ever, ever again. This is not true if there is possible persistence and locations where the virus can live and regrow after remission inside his body.
Forget about this patient, but not the scenario. Let’s assume it was a latent persistent Ebola occurrence, which according to you is possible. He could have infected several people after the re-occurrence (wife, children, co-workers, etc...).
He still was a danger when released, albeit a small one. He only returned to the hospital after he got sick again. No other reason. If what your are saying is true he should have been monitored constantly for several weeks. Not declared cleared and no danger to anyone. For all we know, until he is cleared by the doctors of Ebola there is a chance he killed several people.
Well, the CDC’s Fauci says this case was contained, so this can’t be true. /s
If infected people (related to this patient) started showing up, Fauci would be taken out and shot in many other countries.
According to the World Health Organization,
even post-”treatment” (there is no cure) for Ebola
active virus is still transmitted sexually ... for months.
Where does that fit in the Obola-CDC model?
other than to make certain this goes to all 57 states
just like the EV-68.
Gotta admit, he looks unhappy in this picture. Must have just found out he has to clean the toilets in order to be able to sleep in the homeless shelter that night.
Per breakingnews.com, AP:
Authorities say they have located the homeless man who needs to be monitored for his contact with Ebola patient.
Best thing I’ve seen out of SNL in a long time.
I promise you, I never heard what you are saying is true. I read at a minimum of a hundred stories/articles. Not one article mentioned that there was no cure for Ebola. Or that it could be transmitted sexually after survival.
This part of the story is being suppressed by the news media. I wonder if through deliberate malfeasance or ignorance.
bump
like the bubonic plague was spread by rats and the poorest, I can see how Ebola could be spread through the transient community
Would not be a big surprise. I have read that the Ebola death rate varies from 70-90% depending on getting treatment or not.
pRes_ _ent Obola: "What difference does it make."
Always cracks me up when I am searching for someone who is missing (from active duty Marines to homeless) and over in the right panel there are at least 5 websites that have found them.
Why doesn’t the gov’t just use those sites? /s
FoxNews had a really good clip of Obola saying that he will be prepared for natural disasters, not like what happened after Katrina. Now instead of reading words, he’s eating his words.
Are they STILL trying to find him or have they found him?
Is the first guy dead or not dead?
I keep hearing both sides of these
I will be VERY surprised (but very relieved) if the ‘wife’ and kids do not contract it. He was sick enough to go to the hospital for days, and then spent nights at home with him
If on the other hand, one or more of them gets sick, then we are still in unknown territory. Not 100% screwed but that possibility goes up. If the pressure washer guys or others like that get it, then all bets are off.
