One of the most beautiful and inspiring recordings I have ever heard is the Old Fashioned Revival Hour Chorus Choir's recording of "He Is So Precious to Me," written by the great Methodist hymn writer Charles Gabriel.

The Old Fashioned Revival Hour was a religious radio broadcast out of Long Beach, Calif., and this tune is is on a transcript of their September 7, 1947 broadcast. It features a solo by Beth Farnam and is accompanied by organist George Broadbent and famed gospel pianist Rudy Atwood. My mother is one of the singers in the choir.
