"On Eagles's Wings, A memorial..." to all babies who have died prematurely due to abortion, miscarriage, or other means. May the Lord protect these little ones, share his mercy and love, and hold them in the palm of His hand.

Hi Everybody!

(((((HUGS)))))

“Wake me up when September Ends”
Green day

Reminds me of my own Dad who passed away Sept 6 2011.

I can’t sing the song without thinking of him.

Good ones.

The Impossible Dream (The Quest)

"The Impossible Dream (The Quest)" is a popular song composed by Mitch Leigh, with lyrics written by Joe Darion. The song is the most popular song from the 1965 Broadway musical Man of La Mancha and is also featured in the 1972 film of the same name starring Peter O'Toole.

Maybe I misunderstood the topic. But the Nuge is someone I find to be a breath of free air in the music world for his brutal openness and I picked that song.

If it is meant spiritually, then I will pick my favorite Christmas song and that is “O, Holy Night.”

My Great Grandfather and my Father both asked that “Life’s Railway to Heaven” be played at their funerals and it was.

At Mother’s funeral I requested they sing, “Beautiful Dreamer” which was Mother’s favorite song. Our Cousin who has a great tenor voice did it. Person after person told me it was the most beautiful funeral they had ever been to.

It went over so well that the same guy sang it at the next family reunion in honor of Mother and others who had died during the year.

“Here Comes The Sun” by the Beatles. In basic training, when things got tough I’d sing a few bars. After awhile others started to join in. Pretty soon everyone was feeling more positive.

Strawbs - I'll Carry On Beside You

Short is the time
Though eternity long
Life is but part of the journey
While you've the faith to carry on
I'll carry on beside you.

Steep is the path
But your feet have wings
Sharing the weight of your burden
While you've the strength to carry on
I'll carry on beside you.

Dark is the night
Yet the road shines clear
Lit by the souls of believers
While you can see to carry on
I'll carry on beside you.

Deep is the grave
May you rest in peace
Preparing yourself for the next time
While you still need to carry on
I'll carry on beside you.
