White House: No Ebola travel restrictions
The Hill ^ | October 1, 2014 | Elise Viebeck

Posted on 10/01/2014 2:12:34 PM PDT by jazusamo

The White House said Wednesday it will not impose travel restrictions or introduce new airport screenings to prevent additional cases of Ebola from entering the United States.

Spokesman Josh Earnest said that current anti-Ebola measures, which include screenings in West African airports and observation of passengers in the United States, will be sufficient to prevent the “wide spread” of the virus.

The chances of a U.S. epidemic are “incredibly low,” he said.

“The reason for that is that it is not possible to transmit Ebola through the air. ... The only way that an individual can contract Ebola is by coming into contact with the bodily fluids of someone who is exhibiting symptoms.”

The comments were made after federal health officials confirmed that a man with Ebola traveled to the United States from Liberia on Sept. 20. He is now being treated in isolation in a Dallas hospital as public health workers trace his contacts.

Earnest said President Obama has “strong confidence” in the man's medical care and the measures currently in place to prevent Ebola's spread.

“We've provided guidance to pilots, flight attendants and others who are responsible for staffing our transportation infrastructure to ensure that if they notice individuals who are exhibiting symptoms ... that the proper authorities are notified,” Earnest said.

“In light of this incident, the administration has taken the step of re-circulating our guidance ... to make sure people are aware there is an important protocol that should be implemented.”

It is difficult to spot Ebola cases unless the person is already exhibiting symptoms, such as fever, vomiting or reddened eyes.

West African countries are screening travelers for elevated temperatures, but it is possible to be infected and not show signs for several weeks.

“....we’ve provided guidance to pilots, attendants....”

So Obunga, et al are covered. When the outbreak does come, and the SHTF, he can just throw those people under the bus like he did the Intelligence people last Sunday.

He’s confident Ebola will never get to the White Hut, so screw everybody else. Besides, a huge Ebola outbreak would be a fine reason for cancelling the upcoming election!

These freaks have been fondling themselves at the thought of a pandemic for years. From 2006:

"What would happen if a world-renowned scientist and evolutionary ecologist told hundreds of his colleagues that 90 percent of the human race needed to be wiped out by exposure to Ebola or some other deadly virus?

Apparently, according to a scientist who claims to have witnessed such a remarkable event one month ago, the fiend would get a standing ovation and an award.

The speech Mims heard was delivered by Eric R. Pianka, a lizard expert from the University of Texas. It is recounted in detail in the latest issue of the Citizen Scientist.

“War and famine would not do, he explained. Instead, disease offered the most efficient and fastest way to kill the billions that must soon die if the population crisis is to be solved. ... His favorite candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the world’s population is airborne Ebola, because it is both highly lethal and it kills in days, instead of years.

Mims notes that when Pianka finished his remarks, the audience of fellow scientists and students burst out in sustained applause.

“What kind of reception have you received as you have presented these ideas to other audiences that are not representative of us?” asked one member of the audience.

“I speak to the converted!” Pianka replied.

Bodily fluids including sweat for ebola. So that sweaty hand that pushed the door open before you left you a present.

The he went to the store....fondled the lettuce and tomatoes and gave the clerk his money. She gave you his money as part of your change.

People were wrapped like mummies and they still caught it.

Obama and his admin has been wrong/slow about everything. Now this Ebola risk.

Dallas parents fearing Ebola remove children from school

At a news conference at noon Wednesday, Dallas Independent School District Superintendent Mike Miles said students attending four different Dallas Independent School District schools possibly have been exposed to the Ebola virus.

He said the district was informed the five students were in contact with the Ebola patient over the weekend. They have been in school since, but are now at home and likely will be kept there for 21 days.

That really pissed me off! I have never seen anything like it in all my days! We deserve to hear the questions and get the truth! It was happening on every single channel that carried it.

The parents certainly can’t be blamed for trying to protect their kids under these circumstances.

The president is a known liar so he and his lapdogs cannot and should not be believed when they try to calm everyone about the dangers of contracting Ebola being small.

Most of the Obama voters see letting these people in as acceptable until there are deaths of innocents. They use the same logic by which they approved Obamacare: fake concern for the welfare of others. There are also genuinely evil people in the mix like Holdren who lusts after the death of billions in the name of “sustainability”.

The facts in Africa are that people are getting it from touching. The danger from the administration is not that they are lying about that, but that are knowingly exposing us to even a small risk nominally in the name of political correctness, but with some malice mixed in.

Same thing.

The major companies in the US would scream. So would the smaller ones for that matter.

I remember some one (wish I had saved it) saying that after 911, you would never see an intentional stoppage of airline traffic again. It was simply to costly to the airlines, major businesses, and the public mood.

Sadly that is how decisions are made. Having a few thousand die of Ebola will be rationalized by “Well, at least we let the Cowboy’s season continue! Look at how many jobs we saved!”

They can’t keep a crazy former solider out of the White House. Imagine if the guy had Ebola.

We know that these maniacs believe the human race is a disease. They are looking to thin us out, sacrifices to Mother Gaia. It’s all for the greater good, after all.

I think there should have been restrictions on people coming from that part of the world (West Africa), particularly Liberia and Sierra Leone. Halt travel to and from those countries (they’re not economically important) or make those travelers remain in quarantine. It wouldn’t have stopped it in the long run, since people would be evading security to get here overland, but it would have slowed it down.

The big hope is to develop a vaccine, because this is, after all, just a virus. But that takes time. So even delaying it is good.

It was tried. The African Union flew people to DC to complain how racist it was to steal money from poor African countries by enforcing a quarantine.

We are living in a mad world, were we court death in order to make sure the protected classes don’t get their feelings hurt.

The Dark Lord cares little about the details...Ebola is just another way to overwhelm the system. The goal is to have a prostrate public begging for more government.
