A man in a Dallas hospital has Ebola, the first human case of the deadly virus diagnosed in the United States, doctors at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday.
The patient, who is in an isolation unit at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, did not develop symptoms until four days after he arrived from West Africa, officials said at a hastily called press conference at the CDC’s headquarters in Atlanta.
“He was checked for fever before getting on the flight,” said CDC Director Thomas Frieden. “There is no reason to believe anyone on the flight was at risk.”
The Ebola virus is not spread through the air, but through contact with bodily fluids of victims — sweat, blood, saliva and other secretions.
The patient, whom officials would not identify, flew to the United States on Sept. 20, and began feeling ill on Sept. 24, Frieden said.
He sought care at the Dallas hospital on Friday and was sent home with antibiotics, Dr. Edward Goodman of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital said at a separate press conference in Dallas. Goodman said the hospital is looking into why the patient was discharged....

I know what Ebola is.
This is a meaningless fact, assuming its true. Another virus that is not spread by the air, but by contact with bodily fluids is your average, run-of-the-mill norovirus that can infect a huge number of people in a short period of time.
It must be your regional perception. I had not heard of West Nile Virus until we moved to Colorado. Our second summer here was terrible, many people infected and quite a few died.

I researched a few CDC charts, and you can see the same thing happen in other states. 2004 - CA had massive infections, then they dropped off.
I don’t have regular TV anymore, so I am not tuned into what the broadcast or cable news are covering. But if it were a false flag, I would think they would have, early on, planted reporters in the hotzones to do stories, 24x7.
Kind of like the situation in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina.
The Nigerian-American who puked blood on his flight to Nigeria only killed a couple people on his plane: person sitting next to him and some flight attendants.
Please provide some evidence for that. Everything I have read says they have to be symptomatic.
Reason I ask is we as a family have a SHTF plan and part of that plan (in my SOPs) includes pandemics. I have varying stages to pandemic situations and Ebola being infectious before a fever...before symptoms...would be a game changer on the mitigations we are employing.

I am not the one who thought it could be a false flag. I said my husband was wondering if it could be. Truth is, one never knows with this administration.

I think they imported the disease here on purpose.
You see, they have never done a thing to stop the disease from getting here.
I have to say I have a lot of faith in Nurse Practitioners. For years I would get sick with a cold during the winter that would progress into bronchitis or pneumonia. I would cough for months. Nearly every winter this would repeat.
Lots of visits to doctors once I progressed to the bronchitis stage.
It took a Nurse Practitioner, listening to me cough through the door to say: you have asthma.
Started treating my asthma when I would get colds and I haven’t progressed to bronchitis in years. She was new to the practice, but she wasn’t so jaded not to “hear” my symptoms.
I would say incompetence with this administration is constant, hence the lies. That and the lack of congress, voters and the media holding them to any responsibility.

They dropped off because a fair amount of the vulnerable population was affected the first time through. Then the incidence dropped to a low level background rate. The bow wave of an infection through a naive population is always scary. Thats how ebola will be if it gets out widely.
Guess what...we all sweat...it may air dry quickly..but it’s there. And I imagine you sweat more in Africa...and wash less.

There is a high likelihood that the Liberian National knew he had been exposed to Ebola and flew here to get first class treatment in the United States, including access to the newly developed Ebola medication that saved the lives of several aid workers a few weeks back.
These Liberians are not only ones who may have done so.
Obama needs to take effective actions to prevent desperate and terrified people who have been infected or exposed from flying to the United States to get sick here and receive medical treatment in the land of the magical Hospital Emergency Room in order to protect Americans.
Good luck on that one as we have seen that protecting the safety and security of America and Americans is about the last topic on Obama’s priority lists.
There may be some drop off associated with people being infected, surviving. But the spraying is quite effective also. The number of mosquitoes that can infect are kept in check, which are quite low to begin with.
But, people here, lifelong natives, are still affected years after that initial peak. It is more the luck of the draw, bad luck, so to speak.

One of the things they use after each and every patient is what she calls “cancer wipes.” She calls them that because they are such strong disinfectants that you have to have thick gloves on to use them, or (sarcastically) they will cause cancer.
The process of cleaning down the ambulance is pretty intense and tedious. And if they are diligent about it. Not because of any rules, or dPH threats. They are diligent because they see lots of nasty stuff everyday. And they do not want to get it.

The use of radiation for medical purposes dates well before WWII. German scientists who did human testing in quite revolting projects in WWII - were working for pharma companies. Americans and Soviets of course grabbed for this research and researchers after the war. The big pharma companies of the Western allies and those of Germany had relationships going back long before WWII.
Most people don’t read newspapers and company reports from before WWII, so they are clueless about the origins of big companies we see today.
You’ll be more shocked the more you learn.
Be aware that false “expose” disinformation has been pushed extensively on the internet, including anti-Semitism and ufo/alien stuff. My guess on the statement that they took his tempature is that they used an infrared image. Flying from Lagos Nigeria to Johannesburg SA , every passenger stood in front of the monitor(both the screener and passenger could see on monitors). I have no idea how effective this is or if is sensitive enough to be effective but it may explain their insistence that his tempature was taken.
