I dont know where that is. Always 1-2 docs in our ED in addition to 1-2 PAs

Nurse Practtioners have been really good for most of our needs.

Of course the froken femur with ruptured quads, the appendectomy, hernia surgeries, clavicular sections L/R both, punctured lung, ruptured bladder, and head injury requiring IV Dilantin for three weeks, all required orthopedic, general, and neuro surgeons.

And no not all at once.But for the simple fractures, infections, dislocations, and lacerations needing stitches, the NP's are great! I did not mean to be dismissive of them.
