One of the things they use after each and every patient is what she calls “cancer wipes.” She calls them that because they are such strong disinfectants that you have to have thick gloves on to use them, or (sarcastically) they will cause cancer.
The process of cleaning down the ambulance is pretty intense and tedious. And if they are diligent about it. Not because of any rules, or dPH threats. They are diligent because they see lots of nasty stuff everyday. And they do not want to get it.
I climb into them and have seen how they clean, but not enough for Ebola .
