An investigation was underway Tuesday after Iraqi military pilots mistakenly gave food, water and ammunition to enemy ISIS militants instead of their own soldiers, a senior security official and a brigadier told NBC News. The supplies were supposed to help besieged Iraqi army officers and soldiers who had been fighting Islamist extremists for one week in Saglawyah and the village of Al-Sijar in the country’s western province of Anbar.

I can’t even imagine the massive amounts of weapons we’ve given to ISIS in Syria.
Who’s the enemy?? Who the hell knows. They’re all nuts.
They would make for great military strategists here in the USA.
Next they could be giving ammunition and arms to the terrorists.

I can’t speak to the validity or speculation of the “young pilots’” intent. But I do know this is not uncommon in war. Missing a supply drop is not uncommon. And if the good guys are surrounded,... Well the enemy will get the supplies.
Notice, this is NBC reporting. So who knows what the whole story is.
Probably only attended 41% of the intelligence briefings.
They’re all muslims, peaceful, so what’s it matter who we arm and feed?
I hesitate to say it, but at least in Syria, the attage, "Kill em all and let God sort em out." seems fitting.
I guess I could get worked up over this.
That would be a lot easier if the idiot stick in our White House wasn’t giving supplies and funding to al Qaeda, framing it as supplying the enemies of ISIS, when we all know IT IS ISIS.

Read the history of WWII and Vietnam for many similar incidents.
In fact, during WWII there were a number of times the Air Force bombed the crap out of our own or allied troops. Among other things killing the highest ranking of our generals killed in the war.
I don’t believe it for second no one could be that stupid to believe it was a mistake.
Back then, only we could have gotten to one of our high-ranked generals.
Nowadays, people can waltz into the East Room at will.
To some extent at least, our opposition to Islam is based on the way Muslims treat their women.
So are those women also our enemies? Do you think they'd appreciated being killed in the process of stamping out the ideology that oppresses them?
Strawman argument. Plenty of Muslim women are supportive of the religion and the terror it produces. The number of Muslims per se decrying “jihad” and terrorism is still a bare minority.
