A new Government Accountability Institute (GAI) report reveals that President Barack Obama has attended only 42.1% of his daily intelligence briefings (known officially as the Presidential Daily Brief, or PDB) in the 2,079 days of his presidency through September 29, 2014.
The GAI report also included a breakdown of Obama’s PDB attendance record between terms; he attended 42.4% of his PDBs in his first term and 41.3% in his second.
The GAI’s alarming findings come on the heels of Obama’s 60 Minutes comments on Sunday, wherein the president laid the blame for the Islamic State’s (ISIS) rapid rise squarely at the feet of his Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

I suspect the Bamster has followed Valerie Jarrett’s instructions in his approach to ISIS all along.

I’ll bet Valerie Jarrett attended those briefings.
By missing over half of the briefings, it is patently obvious that Obama is not interested in keeping the country safe.
Only the people making strategic decisions need that information. What the Pres has to know is.... who is available to join him on first tee today. Can’t have slip-ups about that.

But he is a BLACK President, and this is what the USA wanted. People need to be selected and placed in their status according to skin color. Affirmative Action at work.
Being present means being informed and can’t claim he didn’t know...plus, he doesn’t care.
This proves to me he’s a puppet. They don’t want him at the meetings because there’s no reason for him to be there.
Think how stupid people have to be to vote for this guy.

I seem to recall news that Barry could barely be bothered with his intel briefings.
I wouldn't expect anything to change.
Barry likes the adulation and fawning of underlings and strangers that comes with being president.
But as far as the duties and obligations of the office, those words have no meaning to him.
The classical Ottoman and Mameluke Sultans did not participate in the rule of their domains, rather turning administration over to a Vizier, sort of like Valery Jarrett. The Sultans passed their time in Sport and Vacation. If the Vizier screwed up like muffing the siege of Vienna, however, he was strangled or, in the case of the Mameluke sultans, halved.
