The mother of beheading suspect Alton Nolen apologized to the families of the two victims in a short video posted on Facebook Saturday night.
“My heart is just so heavy right now,” Joyce Nolen said. “That’s not my son.”
The mother explained in the video that what her son is accused of doing is so unlike the good kid she raised up in a loving home.
“My son was raised up believing in God. That’s what he believes,” she said.
The mother apologized halfway through the video which plays for one minute and 38 seconds.
“His family, our hearts bleed right now because what they saying Alton has done,” she said. “I want to apologize to both families — because this is not Alton.”
The mother also said she is praying that justice will prevail and “the whole story will come out.”
Also speaking in the video is Megan Nolen, one of the suspect’s sisters. Megan Nolen said his family is in shock because he has never been a violent person.
“We’re praying for both of the victims’ families and the victims,” Megan Nolen said.
“Yes,” her mother adds.
The mother lives in Idabel, where Alton Nolen went to high school.
The two did not say their names in the dimly lit video made inside a residence. The Oklahoman confirmed their identities Sunday with Paige Nolen, who also is a sister of the suspect.
“We are all very remorseful,” Paige Nolen told The Oklahoman. “If he had a chance to say anything, more than likely he would be apologizing, and that’s what we want the world to know.”
There doesn’t seem to be anything out there about Colleen Hufford.

He didn’t spill someone’s milk on purpose. He purposely cut off someone’s head because he couldn’t stand other people not sharing his twisted beliefs.

Ive seen one photo of her on twitter, not sure if its her or not..but she is white..notice how whenever there is a mass shooting the media always reports on the victims, they interview their families(Of course with the media its all about banning guns) not even Fox News has interviewed this woman’s family, for the first time EVER in American history a woman on American soil has been beheaded and no one interviews the victim’s family, its disgraceful

my question was not an attack. it was a serious question. as was the other posters below me asking if they were not aware if he had changed his views in prison, or just from his course of living.

How absolutely abhorrent are the acts this individual committed. As parents, we can only offer our best when we raise our children. What our children choose to do after that is their decision. We have prayed and hoped and believed in Proverbs 22:6, just as our parents did for us. Praise be to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Praying for healing of heart, mind, and soul for this troubled individual, his family, the victims and their families, and our nation.
