Last May, one of the most influential conservative and religious intellectual leader in America gave a somber speech in Washington, declaring it to be Good Friday in America for Christians. In this exclusive two part video interview, Princetons Robert P. George admitted, that was a hard speech to give.
Christians, and those rejecting the me-generation liberal dogma of if it feels good do it, are no longer tolerable by the intellectual and cultural elite, says George, 59, director of the James Madison program at Princeton University. Citing the political witch hunt....

Your thoughts
It is almost unbelievable how fast and how far this has progressed in the past few years alone. It seems to have snowballed since obama took office.
If Hillary becomes a president it will continue and accelerate. This leaves a wide spiritual void for islam to fill, for some people. Maybe many people.
Cultural Elite=Marxists!!!
This leaves a wide spiritual void for islam to fill, for some people.
Why would anyone want this? Because the belief is that Islamists are more easily led by a Strong Man.
So many people still think their children HAVE to go to college or they’ll be paupers their whole lives, and so they send them into the lion’s dens. I don’t know, I have a friend who’s daughter became a Christian at Harvard but that’s certainly not the norm. My husband is a self made rich guy who barely graduated high school so he doesn’t promote college. I have a degree that didn’t bring me any particular skill, so there you have it.
A bright young women from our church recently graduated from Harvard’s School of Divinity. Her faith and ideals seem in tact. Probably not the same school as founded by John Harvard, but she is an encouraging sign for the future.
That’s the problem with the vile among us. They always toss in some decent phrases to convince folks they extremely reasoned.
This guy is something the Left professes to be against 1000%. He does not view others equally. He is prejudiced.
A Leftist can’t fathom that someone else might have a different lifestyle unless it’s perverted and vile.
As I have commonly stated, trade jobs are both under hyped an underrated. One can be an electrician, carpenter, arborist, or other certified trade and make a decent income.
Every student who graduated in the late 1600s and through the 1700s (and actually until about 1850) obtained a degree in philosophy where the capstone of their education was a thorough knowledge of moral philosophy based on the study of virtuous human nature. The colonials believed that it was only with that kind of study could a man become a good judge or a good preacher.
If a graduate wanted to specialize in law, religion, science or what ever they would go on for further study in those specific areas. But everyone was first trained in human virtue.
One of the direct results of this specific training was the fact that every man sitting at the table in Philadelphia and hammered out our Constitution had the same moral philosophy.
Professors at Princeton who can no longer tolerate Christians just show how much our educational establishments have strayed from their original mission.
And it is no wonder that most of these professors support a non-Christian who hates Christians.
And anyway, especially in these apostate days, becoming successful in a worldly sense isn’t nearly as important as standing strong in your faith, and institutions of “higher education” those days, are specifically constituted to undermine and destroy Christian faith.
I personally graduated with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and a Masters in Microbiology, after almost two years of seeking employment, I went to school at a Technical Institute and became a certified electrician. My only regret was not pursuing the electrical technology program sooner. But essentially, what helped me achieve a decent paying job was an education many deem below that of college. I feel like explaining to my own kids that there’s more options than college after high school.
Liberal indoctrination occurs long before college. College is just the final nail in the wedge between parents beliefs and foundation and their child(ren).
But conservatives continue to defend public indoctrination centers.
I owe other forum participants an apology for my prior remarks. I read the title and keyed off of that.
After reading the article, that title seemed to be very misleading to me. It caused me to not even want to read further. I am glad that I did.
The guy is actually a good guy. He has the right idea and isn’t afraid to make it known publicly. I owe him and other forum participants an apology for making comments before I read the article.
The Supreme Court kicked God out of public schools in 1962-63.
A first grader then would be about 58-years-old today.
Now we see the results.
It snowballed because all those who were “thinking it” started “voicing it” once Obama was in.
good point
the obamites used the anger and feeling of rejection of the atheists and doubters (self imposed) to make them feel like “victims” of a Christian culture which hated and rejected THEM- though it was the other way around
the gaystapo- front and center
“h8ters”= Christians with traditional values
ever see this term much before obama?
This article, to me, ties in with today’s Gospel reading, Msgr Popes’ homily — http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/3208672/posts — and my own minister’s sermon:
Gospel Mt 21:28-32
Jesus said to the chief priests and elders of the people:
“What is your opinion?
A man had two sons.
He came to the first and said,
‘Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’
He said in reply, ‘I will not, ‘
but afterwards changed his mind and went.
The man came to the other son and gave the same order.
He said in reply, ‘Yes, sir, but did not go.
Which of the two did his father’s will?”
They answered, “The first.”
Jesus said to them, “Amen, I say to you,
tax collectors and prostitutes
are entering the kingdom of God before you.
When John came to you in the way of righteousness,
you did not believe him;
but tax collectors and prostitutes did.
Yet even when you saw that,
you did not later change your minds and believe him.”
